Early Life:

My name is Rakhi Singh and I am from Bhilai, a city in the district Chhattisgarh. In my childhood I wan an ordinary girl who had a great passion for dance. Also, with my talent in acting, I became an actress in the Chhollywood industry. I am a hardworking woman. Well, it is true that I am not good at speaking English, but my words will heat everyone’s heart out. After I got married in 2003, God blessed me with two children, and today I am a single mother who happily works for the welfare of her family.

  

Career fluctuations:

I started my career with a small debut serial, “Surdas K Lathi” which was telecast on Hindi channel, “Doordarshan.” Later, I also got many offers for video albums for songs, that I pursued. Slowly and slowly I stepped on the ladder of my career. Some of the best acting projects done by me are Kaka, Mayaru Babu, and Nachkarin. I played lead roles in all these films.

Along with these, I worked on various side roles in songs which include “Bhola Aur Shankar,” “Maya K Chhane,” “Raja Bhaiya,” and much more. Last year, I was offered a Bhojpuri film named Nirahuaa Hindustani 3 that scripted me in a negative role. In the future, I am looking forward to working for the Hindi Film Industry- Bollywood.

Priyanka Meena, who was born in Jaipur, with a family background of IAS and IPS, but she wanted to make her career in Acting and Modeling. After graduating in Economics Honours, and MBA (HR), she is working as HR Manager in Steel Authority of India Ltd, currently posted in Bhilai Steel plant, are the sole supplier of Railway Tracks to IR.

 

Priyanka is married, having a son of 3 years. Beside this she is winner of many Beauty Pegants like ‘Mrs Rajasthan 2019’ first runner up, also as ‘Best Personality’ in same competition, she was also ‘Mrs Bhilai 2018’ winner. Having a height of 5’9, she is very passionate about modelling and acting.

Priyanka Meena will representing Rajasthan in ‘Mrs Diva Of India International 2019’. Her dream is to represent India on International platform, for which she is working hard.

Dr. Sohini Sastri Honoured With D. Litt

Dr Sohini Sastri, renowned Indian Astrologer has been honoured with ‘D. Litt in Astrology’ by National American University, USA. The announcement was made at an event held in Mumbai recently at Classique Club, in the presence of several other eminent personalities from the education fraternity.

On receiving the honour, Dr Sohini Sastri said, “I am thankful to National American University and National Institutes of Education & Research for this honour. Such awards and recognitions are a huge motivation and I hope to continue doing my best and contributing towards the field of Astrology.”

The convocation and gowning ceremony was graced by Dr Abhiram Kulshreshtha, Director General National Institute For Education & Research, New Delhi. He is a renowned educationists of the country.
