Kan Singh Sodha’s Zorr, produced by KSS Production and Entertainment and releasing in theatres on February 6, unveiled its much-awaited trailer at a high-energy launch event that also saw the release of the film’s promotional title track ‘Zorr Ka Dhakka.’ The film will be distributed pan India by UFO, marking a strong nationwide theatrical push for the horror-comedy.
Composed by Raju Singh, the song features an eclectic mix of voices including Leslee Lewis, Raju Singh, Mujtaba Aziz Naza, Pinky Maidasani, Kan Singh Sodha and Himanshu Chowdhary, adding musical punch to the film’s quirky horror tone. The lyrics are penned by Dr. (Hon) Anusha Srinivasan Iyer, while music production has been handled by Himanshu Chowdhary and Raju Singh. The track sets the mood for the film with its edgy beats and playful eeriness, perfectly capturing the spirit of chaos that defines Zorr.
Producer Kan Singh Sodha made a grand appearance at the launch along with cast members Rishabh Shukla, Sonam Arora and Vijay Singh, creative producer Shaan Singh Chowdhary, veteran singer Saapna Mukerji, and three corporate zombies who stole the spotlight with their spooky antics. Representatives from UFO and Mid-Day were also present to support the film’s nationwide release strategy.
With its mix of fear, confusion and dark humour, Zorr places strong emphasis on ensemble energy — and its cast is central to delivering the film’s distinctive tone. Set to release in theatres on February 6, the horror-comedy brings together a diverse group of performers whose chemistry fuels both the scares and the laughs. Leading the narrative are Rishab Chadha, Akash Makhija and Joy Sengupta, who anchor the film’s escalating tension as chaos unfolds in close quarters. They are joined by Sonam Arora, Prantika Das, Kavya Kashyap, Ricky Tewary, Sekhar Kanhilal and Vijai Singh, each adding layers of unpredictability, fear and sharp comic timing to the story.
Produced by Kan Singh Sodha and directed by Gourab Dutta, Zorr thrives on performances that demand precision. Speaking about the casting approach, Sodha shared, “Horror-comedy works only when actors genuinely believe in the fear. The humour then comes naturally from the situation.”
Backed by homegrown prosthetics, detailed makeup work and intense close-quarter action, the cast’s performances are heightened by the film’s immersive visual treatment. With its ensemble-driven narrative and strong pan-India release plan, Zorr positions itself as a film where collective energy becomes the engine of both suspense and entertainment as it gears up for its theatrical run on February 6.

Trailer Of Producer Dr. Arvind Dixit’s Hindi Film “Chakkar Chavanni Ka” Launched, Releasing On February 6th
Mumbai. The trailer of the Hindi film “Chakkar Chavanni Ka” was launched at the IMPPA Theatre in Mumbai. The film is produced by Dr. Arvind Dixit and Mrs. Rama Dixit, and directed by D.P. Singh (Dev). Dr. Arvind Dixit is also the writer of the film. Akram Khan is the DoP and Mohd Sohail is the editor. The film, made under the banner of Dixit Film Production, has a unique and comic title, and the story is equally interesting.
Special thanks were extended to Samar K. Mukherjee of Digi Filming for his significant contribution to the making of the film. South Indian actress Sanchi Rai was also present as a guest and praised the trailer.
The film’s main cast includes Priom Gujjar, Janhvi Chauhan, Zahid M Shah, Sunita Chauhan, Ramesh Goyal, Deepu Srivastava, Raj Malhotra, Anjum Khan, Naveen Stephen, and Rinku Rangeela. Many guests, including the producers, were present at the trailer launch. Everyone appreciated the film’s trailer. The film’s producer said that the story is full of comedy at every turn.
Comedian Deepu Srivastava performed comedy on stage and also played a good role in the film. Ramesh Goyal also did excellent work in the film. The film’s distributor, Rakesh Bhadoria, was also present on the occasion. Music composer Dilip Sen also graced the event with his presence.
It is worth mentioning that director D.P. Singh (Dev) has previously directed a Hindi film titled “Belagaam”. He mentioned the support of the film’s producer, Dr. Arvind Dixit, without whose cooperation this would not have been possible.
Producer Dr. Arvind Dixit said that this is his first step in the film industry. He connected with Samar Mukherjee through social media. He learned from his institute, which he found quite challenging. He is the principal of a college. Samar ji liked the story he wrote. He is a spiritual person and considers his guru as God. Despite unfavorable circumstances and limited resources, the decision was made to make the film. We met director Dev Ji, whose nature we found very appealing. Shooting began in Rajasthan on September 11th. All the actors endured the intense heat and sunshine. I have great faith in Lord Shiva. Everything happens by God’s will. It’s fortunate that the film has now reached the release stage and will be released in theaters on February 6th.
Director Dev Ji welcomed all the guests and said that Dr. Sahib gave them complete creative freedom. The DOP did excellent work. All the actors gave fantastic performances, and the film was made possible because of teamwork.
The film’s dialogues are very good. The background score and title song are also good. The producer and director have also acted in the film.
Samar K. Mukherjee said that watching the trailer made him want to see the film. Making a film requires passion, not just money, and he congratulated Dr. Dixit. He has made a commendable effort.
The music is by J.K. Azmi and P. Max. The writer is Dr. Arvind Dixit, while the BGM is by Priyaraj Mandal. Makeup was done by Sandeep Yadav and Rinku Rangeela, and lighting and equipment were provided by Praveen Kumar. The art director is C.P. Sen, sound mixing is by Prabhat Kumar, associate director is Ajay K. Yadav, creative producer is Zahid M. Shah, creative director is Dr. Arvind Dixit, and DI was done by Ashok Verma.
Writer and producer Dr. Arvind Dixit’s upcoming films are Dhanya Dhenu, Palak Putli, Dhaiya, and Bhola. The scripts are ready, and shooting for the film Dhanya Dhenu will begin in March 2026.

कोरमा प्रेतशिला मैदान में भव्य जनता अभिनंदन समारोह सह कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम आयोजित, 25 हजार से अधिक लोगों की सहभागिता
गया (बेलागंज)। कोरमा प्रेतशिला मैदान में गुरुवार को बेलागंज विधानसभा क्षेत्र की लोकप्रिय विधायक मनोरमा देवी के नेतृत्व में जनता अभिनंदन समारोह सह कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम का भव्य आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ प्रातः 11:00 बजे हुआ, जिसमें बेलागंज विधानसभा के विभिन्न इलाकों से 25,000 से अधिक लोग शामिल हुए। कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में महिलाएं, पुरुष एवं वृद्धजन उपस्थित रहे।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान विधायक मनोरमा देवी एवं उनके पुत्र, युवा समाजसेवी रॉकी यादव द्वारा जरूरतमंदों के बीच कंबल का वितरण किया गया। कंबल प्राप्त करने के उपरांत सभी आगंतुकों के लिए मकर संक्रांति के अवसर पर दही-चूड़ा एवं तिलकुट का सामूहिक भोज भी कराया गया। इस मानवीय पहल से ठंड के मौसम में लोगों के चेहरों पर खुशी और सुकून साफ झलकता रहा। उपस्थित लोगों ने विधायक एवं उनके परिवार के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करते हुए दुआएं दीं।
इस अवसर पर विधायक मनोरमा देवी ने कहा कि बेलागंज विधानसभा की जनता ने जिस विश्वास के साथ उन्हें अपना मत देकर विजयी बनाया है, उसी विश्वास की जिम्मेदारी को निभाते हुए वे जाड़ा, गर्मी, बरसात—हर सुख-दुख में जनता के साथ खड़ी रहेंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि जनसेवा ही उनका संकल्प है और जनता की भलाई के लिए वे निरंतर प्रयासरत रहेंगी।
वहीं युवा समाजसेवी रॉकी यादव ने कहा कि वे हमेशा आम लोगों के बीच रहते हैं और उनकी समस्याओं को करीब से समझते हैं। ठंड के मौसम को देखते हुए मकर संक्रांति के पावन अवसर पर जरूरतमंदों को कंबल वितरण तथा दही-चूड़ा व तिलकुट का भोज कराने का यह छोटा-सा प्रयास किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि बेलागंज विधानसभा के कोने-कोने से आए लोगों का स्नेह और आशीर्वाद उनके लिए सबसे बड़ी प्रेरणा है। वे निस्वार्थ भाव से सेवा करते रहेंगे और अनर्गल बातों से दूर रहकर विकास की राजनीति करेंगे—और विकास करके दिखाएंगे।

In the works of Sajal Kanti Mitra, figuration and abstraction exist in a continuous, deliberate dialogue. His paintings unfold within a threshold space where faces, bodies, and gestures momentarily emerge from layered fields of colour, only to recede again into atmosphere and rhythm. Rather than offering linear narratives, the works propose states of becoming, images held in suspension, as if caught between thought and emotion.
Mitra’s visual language is rooted in an urban consciousness, yet it is tempered by an inward, almost musical lyricism. The recurring female forms across his canvases function less as portraits and more as presences, self-contained, introspective, and quietly resonant. Their elongated physiognomies and gently fractured planes evoke relational memory, suggesting how identities are shaped through closeness, distance, and unspoken exchange rather than fixed definition.
Colour operates here as cadence rather than embellishment. Dense reds and ochres lend gravity and corporeal weight, while blues and greens open into contemplative, meditative intervals. The worked surfaces scraped, layered, and reassembled, retain traces of process, allowing the act of painting itself to register as an attentive, almost listening gesture.
Seen together, the exhibition reads as a sustained meditation on rhythm: of bodies, emotions, and lived urban experience filtered through personal mythology. Mitra does not seek resolution; instead, he holds form at the edge of recognition, inviting the viewer into a quiet, continuous encounter.

Renowned artist Parameh Paul is showing his recent work “Sacred India” 17th Solo Show of Paintings at Nehru Centre Art Gallery, AC Gallery, Worli, Mumbai from 13th to 19th January 2026 between 11am to 7pm.
A Luminous Journey through Sacred Sites Paramesh Paul pays an earnest and deeply emotive tribute to the scenic and sacred beauty of places like Varanasi and Pandharpur. In glowing, warm colours — amber, gold, and vermilion — these works are created with utmost care and devotion. A sense of awe is evoked through the dense compositions, while a serene, sublime calm pervades the picture space, immersing the viewer in prayer-like feelings, known and ‘unknown’.
In a work, the sky shines with saturated oranges and golds, while floating diyas and lotus blooms transform the river itself into an altar — majestic, fluid, and sanctified. The ghats of Varanasi at dusk, the sculpted Nandi, the pilgrims and devotees performing rituals, lend the paintings a rich narrative fullness, conveying faith as a lived, luminous presence. Scripted with fine, brooding strokes, these paintings are soothing and richly rewarding on both visual and emotional terms. The lines and forms that construct boats and houses have a quiet charm. Details of rituals — aarti, bathing, prayer, procession — and of temples, pavilions, and arches, are sensitively rendered; they carry a fascinating presence and grace, binding all elements into a shared ceremonial glow. In another piece, the palette shifts to greys, ash-whites, muted blues, and smoky browns. Against this subdued ground, ornate bamboo chhatris punctuate the surface, as if reflecting continuity — ritual, belief, and the ceaseless flow of life along the river. India is a vast land with various traditions of celebration, devotion, worship, and holy places. Works such as these, recalling the “purity” of the sacred riverine sites on painterly terms, are a noteworthy aspiration.

Preet Dutta has participated in more than two hundred fashion shows, ramp shows, fashion weeks, and numerous modeling events as a model so far. Alongside this, she has consistently worked on print campaigns, calendars, and magazine shoots. However, initially, her family did not want her to pursue a career as an actress. After completing her education, she began modeling, but her efforts were not taken seriously at first. When she was selected among the top five models and her name and photographs were published in leading newspapers such as The Times of India, her family began to believe in her abilities. From that point onward, Preet never looked back. She has also been honored with the title “Queen of Bengal.”
