Dreamz Premier League (DPL) , an under-arm cricket tournament is an opportunity of a lifetime for those who have an inclination towards underarm cricket to demonstrate their skills & gain recognition across India. It is a chance for the upcoming cricketers to face an international standard opposition. An opportunity for those who have an inclination towards underarm cricket to demonstrate their skills and gain reorganization.

Mr. Wasib Peshimam is the founder of DPL says “The agenda of converting a under arm cricket into something beyond entertainment attracted more than just sports enthusiasts, including a large segment of the audience watching the league together. DPL is growing & expanding every week, we are very happy” further adding “Like I said, we wish to promote under arm cricket by delivering exciting and engaging events, attracting new and diverse fans and building long-term successful partnerships”

Broadcasted live on D Sport for the very first time across the country, in the first edition of DPL, 20 teams will  participating with each team consisting of 19 players. A total of 380 players will be participating with the tournament lasting for 18 days, every weekend

Films Today Magazine Special Issue Launch At Juhu Plaza Hotel

For the past 13 years, the special issue of Bollywood’s leading magazine “Films Today” was launched at the Juhu Plaza Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai. This film magazine has so far been launching Bollywood stars on the cover page, but this time instead of any Bollywood star, such stars have been launched on their cover page which has been associated with social work for a long time.

Mr. Srinivasan Narayanan Joins Sg. SAIFF As The Festival Director

Mr. Srinivasan Narayanan, former Festival Director of the Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI – Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image) has joined Singapore South Asian International Film Festival (Sg.SAIFF) as their Festival Director. The third edition of Sg.SAIFF will be held from 30th August to 7th September this year at various venues in Singapore.

In a career spanning about four decades, Mr. Narayanan has worked with every aspect of international film festivals and business of film: as festival programmer-director, international film distributor, journalist, producer and administrator.

 

Mr. Narayanan is known in industry for his work at International Film Festival of India (IFFI) where he served as the Deputy Director (Programming) and the film festival organized by MAMI in Mumbai where he served as the Festival Director from 2008 till 2014.

“We are happy to have him on board for Sg.SAIFF. With his experience, he will guide the team and bring value to the Film Festival that is known as an important platform for cinema in South Asia.” Said Mr. Abhayanand Singh, Chairman, Sg.SAIFF.

“I have been following what Sg.SAIFF has done in past two years and it is commendable that they have created a niche for themselves in their early years itself. I am looking forward to contribute and to take the success forward” added Mr. Narayanan.

After the successful two years, Sg.SAIFF in third year is touted to be one of the best evolving Film Festivals and co-production market for South Asian Cinema attended by many established and promising film personalities.

Aru K Verma – Breaking Stereotype And How?
