Dr. Krishna Chouhan Organizes Grand “5th National Ratna Samman 2026” On Republic Day

Mumbai: On the occasion of Republic Day, Dr. Krishna Chouhan organized the National Ratna Samman 2026 on January 26th. This was the 5th year of this award. The ceremony was held on January 26th at the Mayor’s Hall in Mumbai, where several celebrities presented the National Ratna Samman 2026 awards to the recipients.

A tribute was paid to the martyrs through the song “Sandese Aate Hain.” The program began with the lighting of the lamp.

The award ceremony was attended by chief guests, actor Ali Khan, Sunil Pal, Deepa Narayan Jha, Dr. Ajay Sahay, Aditya Singhania, filmmaker C.D. Shetye, Deepak Sawant, Deepak Desai, Ramesh Goyal, ACP Sanjay Patil, Rekha Rao, Fayaz Ali Khan, Girish Thapar, Naresh, Rakesh Acharya, Raju Tank, Mangesh, Komal Kataria, J.K. Tiwari, and many other personalities.

Anchor RJ Aarti skillfully hosted the show. Komal Kataria mesmerized everyone with her performance.

This year, the award ceremony was bigger and better than before.  Those who have made significant contributions to social service and the Indian film industry and its progress were honored with this award. Many celebrities attended the ceremony.

Representatives from Bright Outdoor Media, singer N.K. Naresh, Sagar Acharya, lyricist Vicky Nagar, and Vaishnav Deva were also given awards. Singers Naresh and Sagar Acharya performed songs.

Ali Khan praised Dr. Krishna Chouhan. Dr. Krishna Chouhan is not only a successful film director and social worker but is also highly acclaimed for organizing award functions. Under KCF, he organizes the Bollywood Legend Award, Bollywood Iconic Award, and many others.  Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Award and Mahatma Gandhi Ratna Award have been organized for several years.  The organizer, Dr. Krishna Chouhan, received congratulations from all the guests for organizing this program. He has been organizing this event continuously for the past 5 years.

Renowned artist Parameh Paul is showing his recent work “Sacred India” 17th Solo Show of Paintings at Nehru Centre Art Gallery, AC Gallery, Worli, Mumbai from 13th to 19th January 2026 between 11am to 7pm.

A Luminous Journey through Sacred Sites Paramesh Paul pays an earnest and deeply emotive tribute to the scenic and sacred beauty of places like Varanasi and Pandharpur. In glowing, warm colours — amber, gold, and vermilion — these works are created with utmost care and devotion. A sense of awe is evoked through the dense compositions, while a serene, sublime calm pervades the picture space, immersing the viewer in prayer-like feelings, known and ‘unknown’.

In a work, the sky shines with saturated oranges and golds, while floating diyas and lotus blooms transform the river itself into an altar — majestic, fluid, and sanctified. The ghats of Varanasi at dusk, the sculpted Nandi, the pilgrims and devotees performing rituals, lend the paintings a rich narrative fullness, conveying faith as a lived, luminous presence. Scripted with fine, brooding strokes, these paintings are soothing and richly rewarding on both visual and emotional terms. The lines and forms that construct boats and houses have a quiet charm. Details of rituals — aarti, bathing, prayer, procession — and of temples, pavilions, and arches, are sensitively rendered; they carry a fascinating presence and grace, binding all elements into a shared ceremonial glow. In another piece, the palette shifts to greys, ash-whites, muted blues, and smoky browns. Against this subdued ground, ornate bamboo chhatris punctuate the surface, as if reflecting continuity — ritual, belief, and the ceaseless flow of life along the river. India is a vast land with various traditions of celebration, devotion, worship, and holy places. Works such as these, recalling the “purity” of the sacred riverine sites on painterly terms, are a noteworthy aspiration.

प्रिय मतदाता भाइयों-बहनों,

सप्रेम नमस्कार, जय महाराष्ट्र!

मैं राजेंद्र एकनाथ डाखवे, आप सभी के समक्ष अपना मनोगत प्रस्तुत कर रहा हूँ। मेरा जन्म रायगढ़ जिले के रोहा तालुका के एक छोटे से गाँव में हुआ। मेरा बचपन मुंबई के दादर क्षेत्र में बीता, जहाँ मैंने अपनी स्कूली तथा उच्च शिक्षा पूर्ण की।

समाज में व्याप्त गरीबी, दुःख, पीड़ा और विभिन्न समस्याओं को देखकर समाज के लिए कुछ करने की प्रेरणा मुझे मिली। इसी भावना से मैंने लायन्स क्लब के माध्यम से समाजसेवा की शुरुआत की। जरूरतमंद नागरिकों को अनाज वितरण, कंबल, सिलाई मशीन, व्हीलचेयर आदि का वितरण किया गया। मेरे प्रयासों से अब तक 500 से अधिक जरूरतमंद नागरिकों की मोतियाबिंद सर्जरी निःशुल्क करवाई गई है। इस सेवा कार्य के लिए लायन्स क्लब द्वारा मुझे विभिन्न पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित भी किया गया।

कोरोना महामारी के अत्यंत कठिन समय में मुझे जनसेवा का वास्तविक अर्थ समझने का अवसर मिला। उस संकट की घड़ी में मैंने अपनी क्षमता के अनुसार जरूरतमंद परिवारों तक अनाज, दवाइयाँ और आवश्यक सामग्री पहुँचाने का प्रयास किया। बीमार नागरिकों को अस्पताल तक पहुँचाने की व्यवस्था की तथा प्रशासन से समन्वय स्थापित कर उन्हें समय पर सहायता दिलाने का कार्य किया। इस कठिन दौर में मैंने यह अनुभव किया कि जनप्रतिनिधि होने का सच्चा अर्थ संकट के समय जनता के साथ खड़े रहना है। इसी भावना के साथ मैंने निरंतर जनहितकारी कार्यों के माध्यम से नागरिकों की सेवा करने का प्रयास किया, जिससे जनता का विश्वास और सहयोग मुझे प्राप्त हुआ।

हिंदुत्व सम्राट स्व. बालासाहेब ठाकरे के राष्ट्रवादी विचारों से प्रेरित होकर तथा शिवसेना (उद्धव बालासाहेब ठाकरे) के पार्टी प्रमुख मा. उद्धव साहेब ठाकरे के नेतृत्व में, शिवसेना सांसद मा. राजन विचारे, उपनेता श्री विनोदजी घोसालकर एवं जिला प्रमुख श्री प्रभाकरजी म्हात्रे के मार्गदर्शन में मुझे शिवसेना में कार्य करने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ।

मेरी कार्यशैली और जनता से सीधे संपर्क को ध्यान में रखते हुए वर्ष 2010 में मुझे विभाग प्रमुख पद की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई। इस जिम्मेदारी को ईमानदारी से निभाने के फलस्वरूप वर्ष 2017 में मुझे उपशहर प्रमुख पद पर नियुक्त किया गया।

इस अवधि में अनेक सामाजिक और जनहितकारी कार्य किए गए। क्षेत्र के स्कूलों के विद्यार्थियों को शैक्षणिक सामग्री एवं कपड़ों का वितरण, मेधावी विद्यार्थियों का सम्मान, एस.एस.सी. उत्तीर्ण विद्यार्थियों का गौरव, 9 महाराष्ट्र दिवस के अवसर पर श्रमिकों का सम्मान, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, रंगोली प्रतियोगिता, पाककला प्रतियोगिता तथा महिलाओं के लिए हल्दी-कुमकुम जैसे विविध उपक्रम आयोजित किए गए।

इन सभी कार्यों के माध्यम से नागरिकों का विश्वास प्राप्त हुआ है और शिवसेना के विचारों को जन-जन तक पहुँचाने का कार्य निरंतर किया गया है। जितना संभव हो सके, तन-मन-धन से समाजसेवा करने का मेरा ईमानदार प्रयास लगातार जारी है।

शिवसेना की सीख के अनुसार कम से कम 80 प्रतिशत समाजकार्य करने का मेरा संकल्प है। भविष्य में भी जनता के आशीर्वाद से मेरे हाथों अधिक से अधिक जनहित के कार्य संपन्न हों, यही माँ भवानी के चरणों में प्रार्थना है।

Alka Bhatnagar Honored With The Hindustan Ratna At A Grand Ceremony In Mumbai

The 27th Hindustan Ratna Mumbai 2025 Awards Night and Fashion Show, organized under the aegis of Mumbai Global, was held in a grand mega ceremony at the prestigious Elite Banquet Hall in Mumbai. This mega event was organized by Rajkumar Tiwari, CEO of Mumbai Global newspaper, and was attended by numerous renowned personalities from the worlds of film, television, music, fashion, media, social service, and business.

Alka Bhatnagar graced the inaugural ceremony by lighting the lamp.
The event was graced by the presence of Alka Bhatnagar, UP Ratna Awardee. She was designated as a Brand Ambassador of India in the United States by the Government of India to promote Indian music, art & culture globally. She was also honored by President of the United States of America for her excellent contribution of her services in USA.
She served two terms as a Democratic Party Delegate in USA. She has been awarded with numerous National and International awards and the list is endless. She was specially invited to receive this award from USA adding to the grandeur of the event. Through her hard work, Alka ji has promoted and propagated Indian culture, art, and music worldwide.. Alka ji has released numerous albums of bhajans, light/ folk songs, and ghazals available in India and abroad. She has also provided playback music for the films. Her contributions to the field of music are commendable and praiseworthy. Alka Bhatngar ji was specially honored with the International Singer and Hindustan Ratna Award at this ceremony.
