On the occasion of the 80th death anniversary of the father of Indian cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke, “Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari (Film City) Award 2024” was presented by Raju Tank, event organizer and founder of Bombay Entertainment, on 16 February at Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagari, Film City Studio, Mumbai.

A grand ceremony was organised. In this ceremony, awards were given to famous personalities from the film industry. Dadasaheb Phalke’s grandson Chandrashekhar Pusalkar, his wife Mridula Pusalkar and adopted daughter Neha Bandopadhyay

Shantanu Bhamare is well known for his significant role of a Jailer in Bollywood Hindi Feature Film Fire Of Love : RED against famous Kamlesh Sawant Ji (Drishyam fame worked with Ajay Devgan, Bhoothnath Returns worked with Amitabh Bachchan, Force, etc.).
Prior to Fire Of Love: RED Shantanu has played various important character roles in Bollywood Hindi Feature Films Enemmy (2013) as a Vijay Vikram Singh, Mantra (2017) as a Piya Kapoor’s Brother, Dosti Ke Side Effects (2019) as a Surendra Thakur, Jhalki (2019) as a Sanjay Vyas & Collar Bomb (2021) as a Shyam Fernandes.
Venturing beyond traditional cinema, Shantanu is now in discussions for two Hindi Web Series one is Scooter Riston Ka in which he played role of a Groom and another one is Full Marriage, Half Marriage, No Marriage in which he played role of a Vashikaran Baba. Both Hindi Web Series are released on OTT under banner of ClickTV.
Shantanu has also explored his talent in music albums, He produced an acted in Lead Role in Teri Aashiqui Mein Romantic Album achieving more than 1.2 million organic views in short period of time. and Baby De Ek Chance which is another super hit album, in this album he gave opportunity to 12 newcomers which is commendable.
His upcoming Hindi Feature Films are Shaque- The Doubt!, New York to Haridwar, Breaking News, Sorry Mother & Bhagwa. In all of these Hindi Feature Films he is going to play significant various character roles.
