ISKCON Radha Gopinath Temple Celebrating Gita Jayanti with Fervours

*Devotees Undertake “Shastra Daan” by gifting Free Copies of Bhagwat Gita*

Mumbai – 18th December 2018 – Devotees at ISKCON’s Radha Gopinath Temple at Girgaon Chowpatty is celebrating the Gita Jayanti last Sunday with festive fervours. As a part of celebrations, a grand yajna was organised at the temple, which saw the participation of devotees from across various sectors like corporate sector, professionals, cine artists and intellectual circuit.

On this auspicious days, ISKCON’s spiritual guru Radhanath Swami said, “Bhagwat Gita is 51 centuries old knowledge that was delivered by Lord Krishna to Arjuna, in a battlefield continues to remain relevant even today as a guiding spiritual force. It was God speaking to his devotee 5100 years ago, in about Himself, the Material Nature, Time, Karma and Spirit and that remains alive and inspirational today in almost every life situation.”

It was the holy land of Kurukshetra, where the world’s greatest warriors assembled to participate in a fratricidal war 5100 years ago. Gita Jayanti is the celebration of the auspicious day when Lord Krishna revealed his transcendental instructions to his devotee and friend – Arjuna.

“If you look at today’s situation, with the growth of humanity across the world, we have created states, nationalities, tribes, casts, religions, factions, beliefs and started fighting with our own brothers and sisters. Gita’s knowledge applies well to today’s scenario also, where we have to conquer these enemies created by humanity itself for the benefit, survival and growth of the humanity in the future,” added Radhanath Swami.

The Gita, originally written in Sanskrit, was first rendered in English by Charles Wilkins in 1785. Over the centuries, many great scholars have written commentaries on it. Devotees are also undertaking the pious activity of “Shastra Daan”, by gifting and reaching out thousands of copies of Bhagwat Gita to people across various  villages and towns in India apart from distributing in foreign countries.

The ‘Bhagavad Gita As It Is,’ a translation and commentary on the Bhagavad Gita by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder Acharya of ISKCON today stands out as a uniquely qualified proponent of the teachings of the Gita coming from an unbroken line of teachers going back to Lord Krishna himself.

This edition has been translated in over fifty-nine languages and distributed even as far as Russia, Slovakia, Croatia, France, Germany, Japan, UAE, United States of America and of course India.

Various ISKCON temples, all over the world are celebrating this auspicious day of Gita Jayanti by initiating various spiritual, and social activities of public good.

Raju Shripad Pednekar  Corporator started the the work of repairing the streets of Behram Baug, Jogeshwari.   The locals are very happy with his effort which he has taken for the residence of Behram Baug Jogeshwari West. Below he seen withthe local people at auspicious Coconut Breaking ceremony of the road for which  repairing is being done.

His key achievements in Public service are: He has carried out Traditional, Social , Cultural work in his ward by conducting the gathering of people from all the sections of the society. He has done the work of road development, storm water drainage system, development of garden , laying of water supply lines in his ward. And now with repairing of these gullys  has been appreciated by the residence of this area.

राजू श्रीपाद पेडनेकर नगरसेवक ने बेहराम बाग, जोगेश्वरी की सड़कों की मरम्मत का काम शुरू किया। स्थानीय लोग बहुत खुश हैं, इस काम को उन्होंने बेहराम बाग जोगेश्वरी पश्चिम के निवासी  के लिए लिया है। राजू श्रीपाद पेडनेकर स्थानीय लोगों के साथ सड़क  पर निर्माण कार्य हेतु शुभ नारियल तोड़ते हुए जो सड़क मरम्मत की जा रही है।

डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका के नेतृत्व में एम्पल मिशन ने किया वीर सपूतों का सम्मान

मुंबई: देश की पहरेदारी और भारत मां की सेवा में दिन-रात जुटे सशस्त्र बल, तटरक्षक दल, अग्निशमन दस्ते, पुलिस, फौज, वायुसेना और नौसेना के जो जांबाज हमारी सुरक्षा के लिए अपनी जान की बाजी लगा देते हैं और देश पर कुर्बान हो जाते हैं, उन जांबाजों को कृतज्ञ राष्ट्र की ओर से सलामी देने के लिए एम्पल मिशन द्वारा राष्ट्रीय सम्मान ‘अवॉर्ड्स जिंदगी के ‘ प्रदान किया गया।

देशभक्ति, परोपकार और मानवसेवा को समर्पित डॉ. अनिल काशी मुरारका के नेतृत्व में एम्पल मिशन की टीम द्वारा इस सम्मान समारोह का तीसरा आयोजन हर साल की तरह इस साल भी सम्पन्न हुआ। जांबाजों की कुर्बानियों की याद में और उन्हें सलामी देने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के भाई प्रह्लाद मोदी इस कार्यक्रम में विशेष रूप से मौजूद रहे ।

  

प्रह्लाद मोदी ने डॉ अनिल काशी मुरारका के प्रयास की  सराहना करते  हुए कहा कि ऐसे सम्मान समारोह  राष्ट्रीय एकता और सुरक्षा के लिए आवश्यक हैं।  सैनिकों के वेतन के संदर्भ में इन्होंने कहा कि  सरकार को यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि सांसदो  के वेतन के साथ ही सभी सैनिकों के वेतन बढ़ने चाहिए  ।

मालवणी, मालाड  स्लम के विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी उत्कृष्ट प्रतिभा के बल पर कला के क्षेत्र में अपनी अलग पहचान बनाते हुए अपने रंगारंग कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किये।

‘अवॉर्ड्स जिंदगी के’ इस सम्मान समारोह में  लगभग 15  वीर सपूतों को सम्मानित किया गया । देश के कोने -कोने से वीर शहीदों के परिवार के लोग आकर इस गौरवमयी अवार्ड को ग्रहण किया। देश की सुरक्षा में अपनी जान की बाजी लगाने वाले अनेक  वीरों और शहीदों के परिवार को समाज की नज़रों में लाने के लिए एम्पल मिशन ने इस अनूठे कार्यक्रम का आयोजन पिछले दिनों बॉम्बे स्टॉक एक्सचेंज के एक सभागृह में किया जहाँ बॉलीवुड के कलाकार , उद्योगपति और समाजसेवक उपस्थित हुए थे ।

रवि किशन जल्‍द ही नजर आयेंगे अविनाश गिरी बायोपिक में
इन दिनों बॉलीवुड में बायोपिक का क्रेज बहुत देखने को मिल रहा है। महापुरुषों , राजनेताओं , फ़िल्मकारों के साथ साथ अब नामचीन व्यवसायियों के जीवन पर भी फ़िल्में बननी शुरू हो गई है। इसी कड़ी अभिनेता रवि किशन भी एक बायोपिक में नजर आने वाले हैं, जो अविनाश गिरी के जीवन पर आधारित है। अविनाश गिरी लखनऊ के चर्चित व्‍यवसायी हैं। उन्‍होंने अपने जीवन के उतार चढ़ाव को बड़े पर्दे पर उतारने का फैसला लिया है, जिसके लिए रवि किशन ने सहमती दे दी है। रवि किशन भोजपुरी के बाद हिंदी, तमिल, तेलगू जैसी अन्‍य भारतीय भाषाओं की फिल्‍म कर चुके हैं और आपनी छाप छोड़ी है।

अब वे अविनाश गिरी की फिल्‍म में नजर आयेंगे। रवि किशन ने बताया कि अविनाश गिरी ने ख़ुद के जीवन को परदे पर उतारने का फ़ैसला एक साहसिक क़दम है। मैं इसको लेकर एक्‍साइटेड हूं। बताते चलें कि रवि किशन दिनों गोरखपुर के क्राइम किंग पर एक वेब सिरीज भी कर चुके हैं। अब व अविनश गिरी की जीवन गाथा को पर्दे पर जियेंगे। फिल्‍म की तैयारियां शुरू हो चुकी है। इस बारे में खुद अविनाश गिरी ने कहा की फ़िलहाल हम प्री-प्रोडक्शन पर काम कर रहे हैं। रवि किशन इस फिल्‍म में लीड रोल में होंगे, जिसके लिए उन्‍होंने सहमति दे दी है। आगे जल्द ही रवि किशन के साथ अन्य कलाकारों और तकनिशियनों का चुनाव कर लिया जाएगा। प्रचारक संजय भूषण पटियाला हैं।

Women’s World Club is a powerful association for Women’s Empowerment – Says Reena Mehta

For empowerment of Women and develop !social awareness in them,   Mrs Reena Mehta  a who is also founder of Reena Mehta College in Bhayander west  had arranged first grand meeting in College Banquet on Saturday 15th December 2018, in Mira Road of Women’s World Club.

This association will be working as a NGO, with non political support for Women Empowerment on  their own efforts. Chief guest  of the function was TV actress Pankhuri Awasthy Rode . Founder Reena Mehta explained the aims and intentions of this association, which will be working towards health, education and betterment of Women’s.

Co-founder Sunita Singh said they will be working for Women’s welfare specially of backward class society and they will be fighting for the rights of Women from every class. Also they will be bringing other clubs and association to be together for Women Empowerment.

  

Reena Mehta founder of WWC stated that they have already formed and has support of  clubs like  Muskaan, Supreme, Khushi, Sakhi, Saheli and Queen clubs.

This will bring lot’s of colours in aim and ambitions of this groups. The event was celebrated with colourful performance of various musijcal program. Ehvent was graced by presence of Reena Mehta, Sunita Singh, Falak Khan, Nirmala Vora, Bharti Tejas Ojha and many more.

वमेन्स वर्ल्ड क्लब, एक सशक्त संस्था, महिला सशक्तीकरण के लिये – रीना मेहता।

महिला सशक्तीकरण एवं जागरूकता के लिए श्रीमती रीना मेहता जो कि रीना मेहता कॉलेज की संस्थापक है, इन्होंने भायंदर पश्चिम में स्तिथ रीना मेहता कॉलेज के बैंक्वेट हॉल में, शनिवार १५ दिसंबर २०१८, को वोमेन्स वर्ल्ड क्लब की पहली सम्मेलन अर्रेंज की।

यह संस्था एक एन जी ओ की तरह बिना किसी राजनीतिक सहायता के महिला सशक्तिकरण के लिए प्रयासरत है। इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि थी टेलीविजन की अदाकारा पंखुड़ी अवस्थी रोड़े। रीना मेहता ने संस्था के उद्देश्य एवं उनके प्रयासों के बारे में, जिनमे महिलाओं के स्वास्थ, शिक्षा और बेहतरी पर किये जा रहे प्रयासों पर रोशनी डाली।

सह-संस्थापिका सुनीता सिंह ने बताया कि, यह संस्था हर महिला के लिए लाभदायक है, खास कर पिछड़े वर्ग की महिलाओं के लिये। साथ ही वे उन अन्य संस्थाओं को जो महिलाओं के लिए कार्यशील हैं, इनसे जोड़ने की कोशिश कर रही हैं।

 

रीना मेहता ने बताया कि की उनकी इस संस्था WWC से अबतक कई लोग जैसे मुस्कान, सुप्रीम, खुशी, सखी, सहेली एवं क्वीन जैसी संस्था जुड़ चुकी हैं।

कई रंगों से सजी इस आयोजन में, लोगों के उमंगों में संगीतमय प्रोग्राम ने चार चाँद लगा दिए। इस अवसर पर रीना मेहता, सुनीता सिंह, फलक खान, निर्मल वोरा, भारती तेजस ओझा व कई और गणमान्य महिलाएं उपस्तिथ रही।
