(विशेष संवाददाता) : साहित्य जगत के लिए गर्व का विषय है कि जानी-मानी लेखिका रंजीता कुमारी को उनके उत्कृष्ट साहित्यिक योगदान के लिए प्रतिष्ठित भारत गौरव सम्मान से सम्मानित किया गया। यह सम्मान उनके निरंतर साहित्य सृजन, लेखन के प्रति समर्पण और समाज को सकारात्मक दिशा देने के प्रयासों के लिए प्रदान किया गया।

रंजीता कुमारी एक गृहिणी होने के साथ-साथ एक सफल लेखिका भी हैं। बचपन से ही उन्हें पढ़ने का गहरा शौक था, लेकिन कम उम्र में विवाह और पारिवारिक जिम्मेदारियों के कारण उनके सपनों को विराम लग गया। दो बच्चों की परवरिश और पारिवारिक जीवन में व्यस्त रहने के बाद उन्होंने विवाह के लगभग बीस वर्षों बाद पुनः लेखन की शुरुआत की।

साल 2024 में उनकी पहली पुस्तक, एक कविता संग्रह “एक विरहिणी सी औरत” प्रकाशित हुई, जिसे पाठकों द्वारा काफी सराहना मिली। उसी वर्ष उनका कहानी संग्रह “जीवन के रंग यादों के संग” भी प्रकाशित हुआ। वर्ष 2025 में उन्होंने दो उपन्यास “एक कहानी अपनी सी” और “सलोनी” के साथ-साथ एक और कविता संग्रह “आशना” प्रकाशित किया।

वर्ष 2026 में उन्होंने बच्चों के लिए कहानी संग्रह “दादी-नानी की कहानियां: घूरता-घूरता” लिखकर बाल साहित्य में भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया। उनकी सभी पुस्तकें रविना प्रकाशन द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई हैं और इनका विमोचन दिल्ली विश्व पुस्तक मेला में भव्य रूप से किया गया।

लेखन के साथ-साथ रंजीता कुमारी ने अब तक 11 पुस्तकों का संपादन भी किया है, जो उनकी साहित्यिक दक्षता और अनुभव को दर्शाता है। वर्तमान में वह ग्रामीण परिवेश पर आधारित एक नए उपन्यास पर कार्य कर रही हैं।

रंजीता कुमारी का यह सम्मान न केवल उनकी व्यक्तिगत उपलब्धि है, बल्कि उन सभी महिलाओं के लिए प्रेरणा है जो अपने सपनों को किसी कारणवश पीछे छोड़ देती हैं। उन्होंने यह साबित कर दिया कि यदि दृढ़ संकल्प और मेहनत हो, तो किसी भी उम्र में सफलता हासिल की जा सकती है।

Utsriji: An Ancient Way of Communication brings together ten artists from across eastern India in a compelling group exhibition at Jehangir Art Gallery, presenting a vibrant confluence of contemporary expressions rooted in lived experience and cultural memory.

Organised under the aegis of Utsriji Satsang – a collective established in 1991, this exhibition features works by artists Paban Roy, Tapan Karmakar, Fulla Chandra Mistri, Shiladitya Basak, Malay Dutta, Indrajit Ghosh, Riti Sundar Roy, Ranajit Jana, Subhrajit Dutta, and Mrinal Saha. Each artist contributes a distinct visual language, yet together they form a cohesive narrative that reflects both individuality and shared sensibilities.

The exhibition unfolds as an eclectic rainbow spectrum, ranging from finely detailed figurative compositions and symbolic portraiture to textured abstractions and layered mixed-media works. Themes of devotion, memory, rural life, mythology, and contemporary aspiration surface repeatedly, often interwoven with a strong narrative impulse. Whether it is the quiet dignity of human figures, the symbolic presence of animals and nature, or the interplay of colour and surface, the works resonate with an immediacy that is both accessible and evocative.

What emerges is not merely a display of artworks, but a dialogue, between regions, generations, and modes of seeing. The exhibition underscores art as a timeless communicative force, one that transcends language while remaining deeply anchored in context.

Utsriji invites viewers to engage with this diverse showcase and experience the many ways in which art continues to connect, reflect, and endure.

This show was inaugurated on 5th May 2026 by Honorable Guests Mr. Prayag Shukla (Famous writer & art critic), in the presence of Mr. Kamal Jain (Famous typographer), Mr. Anil Kelkar (Founder member Mumbai art group), Mr. Hars Lakhani (Art curator), Mr. Raj Kumar Sharma (Art reviewer), Mr. U. Pradhan (Art director), Hem Chatterjee (V.C. J.J. College of Arts), The event was further honored by the presence of retired professors from Sir J.J. College of Art along with renowned journalists from leading media houses such as Dainik Bhaskar, Jansatta, Saamna, and others. Members of the Satsang community, including Guru brothers and extended their support. Satsang devotees. Vyoma Parikh’s paintings unfold as immersive, sensorial environments where landscape is not described but felt. Working with a refined interplay of oil and acrylic, she constructs surfaces that shimmer with layered detail, delicate constellations of colour, cascading vertical rhythms, and tonal shifts that evoke forests, water, and flowering terrains without ever settling into fixed geography. Her canvases hold a quiet dynamism, where density and translucency coexist, allowing light, texture, and form to move fluidly across the surface.

What distinguishes her work is this ability to balance intricacy with atmosphere. The repeated vertical elements suggestive of trees, rain, or veils, create a hypnotic structure, while the richly worked grounds, composed of countless minute marks, build a sense of depth that draws the viewer inward.
