AAFT University Session 2022 Inaugurated by Suniel Shetty

Raipur : AAFT University, a premier media and arts university in India, proudly hosted its Orientation Program recently at Hotel Marriott in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Students and faculties from all streams attended the orientation program. 

The Chancellor of AAFT University, Dr Sandeep Marwah, interacted with the students, encouraging them to overcome hurdles, work conscientiously and make a name for themselves in their respective fields.  

The chief guest at the event was actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Suniel Shetty said, “AAFT University aspires to mould students into leaders and innovators of tomorrow. I truly believe in their vision and mission of creating a generation of students who are not conventional rote learners, but who have in them the conviction and courage to carve out a separate niche for themselves. I look forward to a long and happy relationship with AAFT and its students.” 

Sandeep Marwah said, “ Suniel Shetty is an embodiment of hard work, diligence and innovative thinking – all the qualities we want to inculcate in our students. He is an ideal role model and will inspire our students to continue to strive forward in their respective fields. We are also extremely grateful to all the speakers who could join us and help us in our endeavour of providing holistic education to our students.” 

The orientation program also witnessed multiple sessions by industry experts and eminent scholars like Prof. Sanjeev Parshar, chairperson of communications in IIM Raipur, Dr. Kiranmayee Nayak, the chairperson of CG state women commission, Ishan Mitra, singer and director, Gaurav Birla, the co-founder and CTO of Studio Augmented, and Akhilesh Anand an anchor and editor of ABP news. The purpose of these sessions was to make the students aware of the abundant opportunities in the field, the skills required, and how AAFT can contribute to their skill-based training. 

The University recently launched its ed-tech platform – AAFT Online, Co-founded by Mohit Marwah & Akshay Marwah, with the vision to amplify its reach with innovative and advanced-level courses. AAFT Online offers numerous industry-oriented media and creative art courses online like photography, jewellery designing, interior designing, and more. It boasts features like one-to-one mentor sessions and real-world application learning. It has over 60 celebrity speakers as a part of its diploma programs. 

With a legacy of 30 years, AAFT aims to prepare its students across different platforms to compete in the global market through innovative skill-building programs and with a high rate of placement and employability.

President CEGR Sandeep Marwah Addressed Members of IFTRC

New Delhi: “Technical Education plays a vital role in human resource development of the country by creating skilled manpower, enhancing industrial productivity and improving the quality of life of its people,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University and President CEGR- Centre for Education for Growth and Research discussing the role of research & technical education in India with the members of IFTRC-International Film and Television Research Centre in a seminar organised to know more about Technical education.

Explaining the role of an important organization like AICTE-The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Dr. Marwah said that AICTE grants approval for starting new technical institutions, for introduction of new courses and for variation in intake capacity in technical institutions.

The AICTE has delegated to the concerned state governments powers to process and grant approval of new institutions, starting new courses and variations in the intake capacity for diploma level technical institutions. It also lays down norms and standards for such institutions. It also ensures quality development of technical education through accreditation of technical institutions or programmes.

In additional to its regulatory role, the AICTE also has a promotional role which it implements through schemes for promoting technical education for women, handicapped and weaker section of the society promoting innovations, faculty, research and development, giving grants to technical institutions.

“The technical institutions under the AICTE include post-graduate, under-graduate and diploma in the whole spectrum of technical education covering engineering/technology, pharmacy, architecture, hotel management and catering technology, management studies computer applications and applied arts and crafts,” added Dr. Marwah who is also on the board of Applied Arts of AICTE

The AICTE has its headquarters in New Delhi and seven regional offices located at Kolkata, Chennai, Kanpur, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Bhopal and Bangalore. A new regional office at Hyderabad has been set up and is to be operational soon.

सवाल के जवाब में फ़िल्म निर्माता अरविंद प्रकाश और प्रेम शंकर ने बताया कि हमारी फ़िल्म ‘मिट्टी’ एक शानदार कहानी वाली फिल्म है। इसमें यश कुमार लीड रोल में हैं। यह फिल्म देश की एकता और अखंडता का संदेश देने वाली होगी। साथ ही इसमें देश की मिट्टी के साथ जुड़े हुए इमोशन को भी हमने दिखाने का प्रयास इस फिल्म के माध्यम से किया है। इसका निर्माण भव्यता के साथ हुआ है. उम्मीद है दर्शकों को हमारा यह प्रयास पसंद आएगा। फिल्म में गीत – संगीत भी कर्णप्रिय हैं। संवाद दिल को छू लेने वाले हैं।

फ़िल्म के निर्देशक चंदन कन्हैया उपाध्याय ने कहा कि यह एक बेस्ट कमर्शियल फिल्म होने वाली है, जो एक सकारात्मक संदेश के साथ बेहतरीन मनोरंजन दर्शकों के लिए होगी। इसलिए हम दर्शकों से आग्रह करेंगे कि फिल्म जब भी रिलीज होगी तो आप सब सिनेमाहाल में जाकर यह फ़िल्म जरूर देखें।

भोजपुरी सिनेमा को डेली रूटीन से हटकर फ़िल्म देने के लिए आगे आई फ़िल्म प्रोडक्शन हाउस रामा प्रसाद प्रोडक्शन और ब्लू कोरल्स एंटरटेनमेंट प्रा. लि. ने एक साथ चार भोजपुरी फिल्मों का ग्रांड मुहूर्त उत्तर प्रदेश के लखनऊ के एक रिसॉर्ट में विधिवत पूजा पाठ करके किया है। उन चार फिल्मों में से एक फिल्म “अघोरी” की शूटिंग शुभ मुहूर्त में शुरू कर दी गई है। इस फिल्म में केंद्रीय भूमिका में यूनिक स्टार यश कुमार हैं, जिन्हें अलग-अलग और चैलेंजिंग किरदार निभाने के लिए जाना जाता है। फ़िल्म की नायिका एक्ट्रेस यामिनी सिंह हैं। उनकी केमेस्ट्री दर्शकों को खूब भाने वाली है।

उल्लेखनीय है कि शुभ दिन पर शुभ मुहूर्त की गई चारों भोजपुरी फिल्मों में तीन फिल्मों “अघोरी, “मृत्युदंड”, “शूल” के हीरो यश कुमार हैं और चौथी फ़िल्म “शादी बाई चांस” के हीरो अरविन्द अकेला कल्लू हैं।

गौरतलब है कि जाने-माने फ़िल्म निर्देशक राज किशोर प्रसाद (राजू) और फ़िल्म निर्माता रामा प्रसाद ने इसके पहले यश कुमार के साथ दो भोजपुरी फिल्म अर्धनारी, परशुराम बना चुके हैं। उसके बाद रामा प्रसाद प्रोडक्शन, ब्लू कोरल्स एंटरटेनमेंट प्रा. लि. बैनर के तले एक साथ 4 भोजपुरी फिल्मों का निर्माण किया जा रहा है। फिलहाल चारों फिल्मों में से यूनिक स्टोरी के साथ बनाई जा रही भोजपुरी फ़िल्म “अघोरी” की शूटिंग शुभ मुहूर्त करके लखनऊ में शुरू कर दी गई है।

 भोजपुरी फिल्म “अघोरी” में केंद्रीय भूमिका में यश कुमार काफी अलग किरदार में नजर आने वाले हैं। उनके साथ बतौर हीरोइन यामिनी सिंह अपनी अदा का जादू चलाते हुए नजर आने वाली हैं। इस फिल्म के निर्माता रामा प्रसाद हैं। निर्देशक राज किशोर प्रसाद (राजू) हैं। फ़िल्म के लेखक एस.के. चौहान हैं। संगीतकार मुन्ना दुबे, डीओपी जहाँगीर हैं। मारधाड़ प्रदीप खड़का, नृत्य महेश आचार्य, कला अवधेश राय का है। प्रोडक्शन कंट्रोलर जेपी हैं। फ़िल्म के मुख्य कलाकार यश कुमार, यामिनी सिंह, अवधेश मिश्रा, मनोज टाईगर, अमित शुक्ला, महेश आचार्य, विष्णु शंकर बेलू, सुबोध सेठ, रोहित सिंह मटरू, सोनिया मिश्रा आदि हैं।

विदित हो कि फिल्म निर्देशक राज किशोर प्रसाद (राजू) यश कुमार के साथ टोटल 5 फिल्में कर चुके हैं। पहली फिल्म पहली भोजपुरी फिल्म लुटेरे, दूसरी फ़िल्म अर्धनारी, तीसरी फिल्म सुरक्षा, चौथी फ़िल्म परशुराम, पांचवी फिल्म जानवर और इंसान… और अब छठवीं, सातवीं, आठवीं फ़िल्म अघोरी, शूल तथा मृत्युदंड है। यामिनी सिंह के साथ बतौर निर्देशक वे पहली बार फ़िल्म कर रहे हैं। 2 फ़िल्म अघोरी तथा मृत्युदंड में यामिनी सिंह उनके निर्देशन में काम कर रही हैं।
