Our daily lives are immersed in so much communication – words, pictures, graphics, gifs and boomerangs – that’s what we use to express our feelings. But have we realised how colour can make such a deep difference to what we say? Rang De gives us that chance to explore our emotions through colour.

What is Rang De?

Rang De is a one-of-its-kind Pre Holi Bash. Happening on Saturday, March 16th 2019 in Kandivali east, Rang De invites all to come and celebrate colour, celebrate community and celebrate life. Organised by Maa2Mom and Avsar, this event is all about a world of colours, dedicated to Holi – our beloved festival of colours!

  

Rang De will witness exciting activities for all men, women and children all day long. Hues and colours will create the festive and fun atmosphere through the day. Unique stalls, activities and food will render the perfect ambience to welcome Holi – the festival of spring. Friends and family can come to enjoy and experience some very uniquely curated events here. From group dance contests to power-packed Zumba, a DJ party with DJ Amit and painting and DIY activities for young and old – here’s your chance to enjoy an entire morning with creativity and colour.

Rang De: A Spectrum of Cultural Events

The Rang De evening is an incredible line up of cultural events. Celeb singers and musicians grace the Rang De stage – come and watch Pamela Jain, Krishna Berua and Sarvpreet Singh create sheer magic with their music.

The National Lever Odyssey Dance group will enthral you with their moves. And while we’re on this road – watch out for the ramp that has Rang De kids adding more brightness to the colours around!

One of the highlights of Rang De is Talaash -A collaboration of Storytelling Live Music and Live Painting! This is something you would have never seen before.Three artists: Storyteller Swaraj Singh, Musician Baksheesh Singh and Painter Rupesh Sharma come together in a spectacular act.

एक्टिंग और डांस क्लास काजल क्राफ्ट एंड विज़न  की ओपनिंग ।

आपको बता दें कि इस एक्टिंग क्लास के सीएमडी अरुण पाठक ने शहीद ए आजम नाम की एक फिल्म भी प्रोड्युस की थी। अरुण कुमार पाठक के द्वारा निर्देशित यह फिल्म इतिहास के कई अनछुए पहलुओं को उजागर करती नज़र आइ थी.  स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में क्रांतिकारी की भूमिका में रहे कमल नाथ तिवारी के जीवन पर आधारित थी यह फिल्‍म। एक अनछुए स्वतंत्रता के क्रन्तिकारी कमल नाथ पर फिल्म निर्माण का अरुण कुमार पाठक की कोशिश सराहनीय रही है।

अरुण कुमार पाठक का कहना है कि वह इस डांस और एक्टिंग क्लास के जरिए प्रतिभाशाली एक्टर्स और डांसर्स को टीवी और फिल्मों में काम करने के लिए तयार करना चाहते हैं। यहां माहिर लोगों के द्वारा स्टूडेंट्स को डांस और अभिनय का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा। वह टैलेंटेड एक्टर्स को सिनेमा में काम करने का मौका भी देंगे।इनकी अगली आने वाली हिंदी फिल्म “जज़िया” है जिसका मुहूर्त जून में होगा ।अभी ऑडिसन स्टार्ट है ,निर्देशक अरुण के. पाठक का कहना कि वो अपनी पूर्व की हिंदी फिल्म “शहीद ए आज़म “की तरह अपनी आगामी फ़िल्म जज़िया में भी सिर्फ नए कलाकारों को ही जगह देंगे।

QI Spine Foundation Delivers A POP Talk At MCGMs Nair Dental To 70 Female Doctors

70{61307dbfb632870ba326f6322853bd3ffea5b163e9c789324eea2723926c15c1} of the dentists suffered from back pain due to their work; making them the most vulnerable segment in the  medical community to suffer from back pain.

To address this issue, on the eve of International Women’s Day, a group of 70 female medical students, interns and doctors attended a POP talk (Power Over Pain) aimed to share how back pain can be avoided/minimised during dental practice.

Dr. Garima Anandani, Senior Spine Specialist and Clinical Director, QI Spine Clinic delivered the POP talk. POP Talks, is an acronym for Power Over Pain, and is a proprietary community outreach program. The session, emphasized on how doctors constantly have to bend to perform dental surgeries, procedures and even  regular check-ups.

   

Speaking to the doctors and students on the perils of back pain, Dr. Garima Anandani said, “Awkward working posture, repetitive slant and prolonged standing leaves dentists to be very vulnerable. This damages the muscles, joints, bones, ligaments, tendons, nerves, and blood vessels leading to pain and fatigue.”

She covered a gamut of subjects like spine structure,  workplace ergonomics, posture correction, and issues specific to dentists. Dr Anandani also  shared insights on non-surgical treatment for back and neck conditions with the moto that prevention is the best way to deal with pain.

Dr. Ritesh Gaigole, Senior Spine Specialist, further added “Dentists between the ages of 30 to 40 with at least 10 years of experience are highly prone to back pain.”

The POP Talk concluded with a quiz session for dentists who won exciting prizes. QI Spine  Foundation is a not for profit organisation raising awareness about the non-surgical treatment for back and neck conditions.
