Cascade of Shades : A creative journey of the blend of colors, tones, and textures

There are paintings that capture your sight and then there are those that quietly enter your thoughts, linger in your imagination, and bloom with every passing moment. Cascade of Shades, a solo exhibition by Ragini Sinkar, belongs to the latter. Every painting in this series bridges gap between imagination and perception.

This show was inaugurated on 21st April 2025 by Honourable Guests Achyut Palav(Master Calligrapher and Designer, Pamashree 2025),Ashok Dugade(Chairman & Managing Trustee, Saturday Club),Sanjay Deore(Managing Director, SKD Consultants Pvt. Ltd.) among others.

Each canvas in Cascade of Shades feels alive with motion—not in the literal sense, but in how it unfolds across time and mood. A painting seen in morning light might feel entirely different by dusk. These are not static pieces, they evolve with the viewer.

Built with translucent layers, subtle contrasts, and a keen eye for harmony, Ragini’s abstract compositions explore the delicate bridge between perception and imagination. Her work invites you to pause, to reflect, to lose and perhaps find yourself within shifting tones and textures.

A graduate of Sir J.J. School of Art, Ragini completed her A.T.D. in 1998 with first rank, followed by a B.F.A. in Drawing and Painting in 2002. Over the years, her work has been exhibited at some of Mumbai’s most prestigious galleries, including multiple solo and group shows at Jehangir, Nehru Centre, and Cymroza Art Gallery.

Her achievements include awards for design, object drawing, portraiture, sketching, and collage, and she has actively contributed to the Indian art scene through platforms such as the Art Society of India, Camlin Art Foundation, Bombay Art Society, and several women-led exhibitions.

रामकुमार पाल को मिला ‘महाराष्ट्र एक्सीलेंस अवॉर्ड 2025’, मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस समेत कई दिग्गजों की उपस्थिति में हुआ सम्मान

मुंबई। आत्मनिर्भर भारत अभियान के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष और साक्षात एंटरटेनमेंट के प्रमुख श्री रामकुमार पाल को ‘महाराष्ट्र एक्सीलेंस अवॉर्ड 2025’ से सम्मानित किया गया। यह प्रतिष्ठित सम्मान टीवी जर्नलिस्ट एसोसिएशन द्वारा आयोजित एक भव्य समारोह में उन्हें प्रदान किया गया, जिसमें महाराष्ट्र की राजनीति, उद्योग और मीडिया जगत की जानी-मानी हस्तियां शामिल रहीं।

कार्यक्रम में महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री माननीय श्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, उद्योग मंत्री माननीय श्री उदय सामंत, गृह राज्य मंत्री माननीय श्री योगेश कदम, और महाराष्ट्र विधान परिषद के सम्माननीय सदस्य श्री प्रसाद लाड विशेष रूप से उपस्थित रहे और श्री रामकुमार पाल को उनकी सामाजिक प्रतिबद्धता, उद्यमिता और आत्मनिर्भर भारत के लिए किए गए अभूतपूर्व योगदान के लिए मंच पर सम्मानित किया।

देश के मुसलमानों को प्रधानमंत्री मोदी पर पूरा भरोसा – एसएम खान

मुंबई। वक्फ संशोधन बिल को लेकर देश का आम मुसलमान प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के साथ खड़ा है। यह कहना है भाजपा अल्पसंख्यक मोर्चा के महाराष्ट्र उपाध्यक्ष एसएम खान का। उन्होंने कहा कि नए संशोधन बिल से अब तक हाशिए पर रहे गरीब और पिछड़े मुसलमानों को लाभ मिलेगा।

पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए एसएम खान ने कहा कि कुछ लोग मुसलमानों को गुमराह करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं और इस बिल को लेकर भ्रामक बातें फैला रहे हैं कि इससे उनका नुकसान होगा, जबकि हकीकत इसके ठीक उलट है।

उन्होंने कहा कि मोदी सरकार मुसलमानों का भला चाहती है और उन्हें गरीबी के दलदल से निकालकर तरक्की की राह पर लाना चाहती है। प्रधानमंत्री “सबका साथ, सबका विकास और सबका विश्वास” की भावना से काम कर रहे हैं और मुसलमानों को हर क्षेत्र में आगे बढ़ता देखना चाहते हैं।

कांग्रेस पर हमला बोलते हुए खान ने कहा कि कांग्रेस ने हमेशा मुसलमानों को केवल वोट बैंक की तरह इस्तेमाल किया। वक्फ बोर्ड के नाम पर 50 सालों से मुसलमानों को गुमराह किया गया और अब जब उनकी “लूट की दुकान” बंद हो रही है, तो वे शोर मचा रहे हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि इस नए बदलाव से गरीब और पिछड़े मुसलमानों के साथ-साथ मुस्लिम महिलाओं को भी बड़ा फायदा होगा। सच्चर कमेटी की रिपोर्ट को कांग्रेस ने जानबूझकर लागू नहीं किया ताकि मुसलमान आगे न बढ़ सकें।

खान ने कहा कि देश का मुसलमान अब जाग चुका है और उसे प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पर पूरा भरोसा है।

The Innovative Artists Welfare Association (IAWA) NGO is set to host a virtual Mental Health Awareness event on March 15, 2025, in collaboration with The American University, USA. This initiative, aligned with Women’s Day, will feature top mental health professionals addressing crucial issues related to mental well-being.

Addressing the Global Mental Health Crisis

With suicidal rates increasing worldwide, mental health has become a critical issue. Conditions like dementia, depression, and social isolation are on the rise, often fueled by the pressures of modern life, the relentless race for success, and the absence of strong emotional support systems. This event will focus on addressing these challenges, spreading awareness, and providing solutions for mental well-being.

A Decade of Social Service: Dr. Amb. Daljeet Kaur’s Contribution

This initiative is spearheaded by Dr. Amb. Daljeet Kaur, a passionate social activist who has been working for various social causes for over 10 years. Through IAWA NGO, she has championed causes related to mental health, women’s empowerment, education, and social welfare.
