First Irish Film Festival Of India Saw The Light Of The Day At AAFT

Noida: It is a historical day as once again we have been able to create another First ever Irish Film Festival of India along with the opening of 115^th Batch of Asian Academy of Film and Television. This new IFFI in New Delhi has already created super vibes in the creative circle,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the opening of Irish Film Festival at Noida Film City.

“I am thankful to Sandeep Marwah ICMEI and Indo Ireland Film and Cultural Forum for organizing first ever Irish Film Festival of India. The new chapter has begun in the friendship of India and Ireland. This must continue and we would like to make it an annual event now onwards,” said H.E. Brendan Ward Ambassador of Ireland to India in the capacity of Chief Guest of this glamorous show.

What an excellent idea to have festival of Irish Films. We had teachers from Ireland in our schools and colleges, including in churches years back. The two countries had a similar fight against a common adversary and there were many ties between the respective independence movements in the two countries. Many of the provisions of the constitution of India were drawn from their Irish counterpart, the constitution of Ireland. Cinema brings very strong cultural ties,” said Stuti Kacker former Secretary Government of India and Now Chancellor of University.

Overwhelmed with the huge turnover and house full audience Siraj Zaidi Actor Producer specially flown from Dublin said,” Dream Come Ture- I have been planning to have festival of Irish Films from last twelve years, since I started festival of Indian Films in Dublin, Ireland. I am indebted to Marwah Studios to take up this event. Best of four films are here to bring two countries together through art and culture,”.

The first IFFI festival (Irish Film Festival of India) in Noida is unexpectedly very vibrant and energetic. The films are marvelous. I have been to Ireland few times, we are very close to the culture of Ireland. We have a very long relationship with the people of Ireland,” added Atul Tiwari renowned Script writer and actor from Mumbai.

I had the pleasure to be in Ireland two three times and I have always been impressed by the films and culture of Ireland. Now this festival has opened many gates of relationships with Ireland,” expressed Nilesh Malhotra Producer, Director, actor from Mumbai.

A scholarship of AAFT Asian Academy of Film and Television was presented to Irish Ambassador H.E. Brendan Ward on this occasion. Sandeep Marwah also presented Life Membership of International Film and Television Club to the dignities. An exhibition of paintings by Tanisha Bakshi was another attraction. The event was supported by Indo Ireland Film and Cultural Forum, International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

With the curtain down on this year’s The 18th edition of Exclusive & Extraordinary Event was successfully held in Goa. the, organizers are turning their attention to next Show soon, when they plan to hold the 19th iteration of the serendipity marquee event.

“I think we were exceptionally happy about the entire 2022 festival from the incredible 18th Edition of our Pageant & International film festival AFFII (Art & Film Festival of India International) Awards & Ekoham Foundation Awards for the charity cause of “Orphans of disaster”. To the reaction of our audience and the participation of celebrities both in front of and behind the camera,” chief executive director Sana Saini said in an interview following the festival. “There were several evenings during the festival that sold out completely with the 100% participation in all the activities. The Show has a presence of many names form the B. Town intellectuals, Producer Mr. Rakesh Sabharwal raised the curtain as the honorable guest along with Mr. Ronnie Rodrigues, Mrs Neelam Berry The National  Show Mentor of Exclusive & Extraordinary, Mr. Mike Berry Patron of the Festival. The show also witnessed the names like Rina Jain, Lipika Modi, Director Shakeel Ahmed & any more names.

It was the first time since 2019 that the festival was held fully in person with an estimated 55,000 application.

The 18th edition of the show held at Country Inn By Radisson announced their new queens of 2022 – 2023, Miss Apoorva kawre won the title of Miss India, Mrs Rekha Shinde won the title of Mrs India Mrs Bhoomika Banerjee won the Title of Classic Beauty age 40 plus, Mrs Tannu Bharti from Jharkhand Was the Classic Beauty Grand for Age 50 an above, Mr Shashank Tanwar was announced the Mr. India, Mr. Manish Soni Mr. India Classic age 40 & above & Bhoomika Soni was the winner of Miss Teen

The festival announced the New face of Brand ambassador of the Ekoham Foundation Mr Sumit Ajmera & Ms Rupali Vijay who also won the title of Mr. & Ms. Universe at the show competing with 29 International participants.

The other Winners of the show were Mrs. Seema Sharma, Mrs. Kajal Sisodia, Mrs. Dolly Mathew, Manjula Karunan, Dr Anupama, Mr Bhuvan Soni,Mr Pravin Kumar & Mrs Poonam Mayer

This year‘s festival ran between Nov. 24 through Nov. 26th and kicked off with a screening of dozens of films, Pageant & Awards were screened and held throughout its run.

“Aside from just the great films, parties and events, these were opportunities [for attendees] to hear firsthand from legendary filmmakers and artisans. Really, this was very special.”

Event Highlights:

A mix of elite adventurers, environmental activists, authors and everyday heroes headlined speaker events, while festival-goers could partake in their own adventure in a wide range of competitions and organized activities throughout the weekend. The Key evening speakers from a perspective included local Indian Mountneering legend Mr Dhawal Karia & Mr Ramakant Munde with Kabir the Bollywood photographers, The famous plus size Model from the North east Miss Aayushi Karanwal, Ms Gargi Sarmah Sulekha verma & Ankita Khattery the author & writer from Benares won the AFFII & Ekoham Foundation Awards.

The Festival also started the launch pad with Mrs Lipika Modi for Authors announce their books & other activities.

Actress Harmisha Mistry is making her Bollywood debut with the film Kuch Khatta Ho Jaye

Producer Ajay Soni is working on multiple projects under his production house Seven Horse Studios. Singer Amit Gupta is coming up with two Punjabi music videos soon. The name of one song is Amritsari Jugni, the other song is named Ankhiyaan Nu. Amit Gupta is the composer and singer of both these songs as well as featuring. Whom Raj Gupta is directing and Ajay Soni is the producer of these videos. Actress Harmisha Mistry is also working with Ajay Soni, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut soon.

Mumbai based actress Harmisha Mistry is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Kuch Khatta Ho Jaye opposite Guru Randhawa. Harmisha is very excited to do this film with Guru Randhawa, Saiee Manjrekar and Anupam Kher. The film will release in January or February next year. Talking about her character in the film, Harmisha said that she is playing the role of Saiee Manjrekar’s younger sister.

Harmisha, who has done B4U’s official music video Farari, has also done Udit Narayan’s video Gore Gore Gaalon Pe. Harmisha, who has done sirf Money and a horror web series with Sudesh Berry, will be making her feature film debut with Kuch Khatta Ho Jaye. 3 दिसंबर 2022 को कैंसर से पीड़ित 20 बच्चों के बैच के लिए एक विशेष उत्सव आयोजित किया जाएगा, जहाँ बच्चों को पेंटिंग करने और पेंटिंग के लिए अपने कौशल का प्रदर्शन करने का अवसर मिलेगा।  इसके बाद एक जादू शो होगा जहां उपहार और उपहारों की भरमार होगी।

“यह इन बच्चों के जीवन को रोशन करने के लिए एक छोटा सा प्रयास है। हम सभी को एक साथ मिलकर उनके जीवन को रोशन करना चाहिए। जब कोई बच्चा आशा की किरण देखता है, तो यह उन्हें नई आशा के साथ बीमारी से लड़ने में मदद करती है। हम यही चाहते हैं की वो इस जंग को जीतकर एक विजेता के रूप में जीवन को जिये।”

अनीता पीटर, कार्यकारी निदेशक, सीपीएए ने आगे कहा, “संजुक्ता अरुण वर्षों से अपने चित्रों की बिक्री और नीलामी के माध्यम से कैंसर से बचे लोगों का समर्थन कर रही हैं। बेहद महंगा,दर्द और दबाव के कारण कैंसर बीमारी,रोगियों और उनके परिवारों दोनों को आघात में धकेल देता है।  बीमारी बदसूरत है और परिवारों को यह याद दिलाने की निरंतर आवश्यकता है कि जीवन सुंदर है और इसके लिए लड़ना बेहद जरूरी हैं। संजुक्ता जैसे खूबसूरत लोग,न केवल बच्चों और उनके परिवारोंवालों को बल्कि आम लोगों को भी बदलाव के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं”।

Nature Fights The Battle For Cancer Kids Through Sanjukta Arun’s Painted Ballads

The earth is her muse. And Sanjukta Arun paints her ballads on the canvas.  Whether it be her series on the mighty  waves that define how life is a series of waves to be embraced and overcome by surfing through them, or the forests where we find solace seeing the tree remain a tree, Sanjukta walks her life’s paths unseen to the world hidden in the depth of her creations. It is those answers Sanjukta shares with the world.

Painted Ballads is a collection of poems on canvas on display at the Nehru Centre from Nov 29- Dec 5.

The funds raised through the sale and auction of the paintings will be utilised for the treatment of children suffering from cancer.

On December 3, a special celebration for a batch of 20 children suffering from cancer will be organised, where the children get to paint and showcase their skill for painting. It will be followed by a magic show where gifts and goodies galore. The artist has appealed to art lovers to come forward and support the bravehearts.

“This is merely a small gesture to brighten the lives of these children. We should all come together to brighten their lives. When a child sees a ray of hope, it helps them fight the disease with renewed hope. That is all we seek — to see them emerge winners.”

Adds Anita Peter, Executive Director, CPAA, “Sanjukta Arun has been supporting cancer survivors for years through the sale and auction of her paintings. Cancer pushes both the patients and their families into trauma due to the high expenditure, pain and pressure. The disease is ugly and there is the constant need to remind families that life is beautiful.and worth fighting for. Beautiful people like Sanjukta inspire not just the children and their families but common people to be the change!”

यह वेब सीरीज 9 दिसम्बर 2022 को सिनेप्राइम के ओटीटी चैनल पर रिलीज होने जा रही है। वेब सीरीज कोविड के समय लगे लॉक डाउन के दौरान शादी के सीजन पर आधारित है जहां एक बारात के ससुराल पहुंचते ही लॉकडाउन की घोषणा हो जाती है और यहीं से कुछ ऐसा घमासान होता है जो आपको रोमांचित कर देगा और साथ ही हँसा हँसा कर लोटपोट कर देगा।  रोमांच और कॉमेडी से भरपूर यह वेब सीरीज दर्शकों को अवश्य पसंद आएगी।

Fashion Designer Sana Aziz Khan Follows Her Grandfather Late M Haneef Aims To Dominate The Globe With Her Work

Art has no limits, and it comes in different categories and niches. Lucky are those blessed with the artistic flair who explore and bring different artworks to life. Taking the legacy of art to another level, Sana Aziz Khan has been setting a benchmark in the fashion industry. She is the granddaughter of the Late M. Haneef alias Mohammed Haneef. He was an artist, sculptor and professor at Lucknow University.

While Late M. Haneef took his art pieces on a global scale, Sana is making a remarkable contribution as a fashion designer in the international markets. Hailing from the city of Nawabs, Lucknow, Sana spent her childhood in Saudi Arabia. Losing her father in the early years of life, Sana’s life was filled with challenges until she discovered her love her fashion.

Improving her art and craft of fashion, Khan completed a course in fashion design from AIFT, Lucknow after which she moved to Mumbai for better prospects. Eventually, Sana built a strong network with professionals from the fashion industry; thanks to her veteran grandfather’s global reputation in the art industry. Late M. Haneef was a soft-spoken and visionary artist in the country.

In the past, he made statues across India of the nation’s greatest leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Chaudhary Charan Singh. Not to forget, his work also includes magnificent statues of the great Buddha and Tulsidas in Amroha. As Sana makes a progressive career in the fashion industry, she considers her late grandfather as the pillar behind her success.

Speaking about it, the fashion designer said, “My grandfather was a kind soul, and lived his life with honesty. His imagination and vision were way ahead of time. Creativity is something I have got from him, and I am sure to keep his legacy intact with the work I do.” Starting from the bottom, Sana Aziz Khan has collaborated with notable celebrities like Sourav Ganguly, Prachi Desai, Sunny Lene, Sara Khan, Arya Babbar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ajinkya Rahane to name a few.

Beginning in Mumbai, the celebrated fashion designer has hosted an array of apparel exhibitions in Dubai and Turkey. Just like her grandfather, she aims to leave her mark internationally. Khan has been adamant to introduce cross-border cultural exchange and take Indian culture to the world stage. With a strong clientele from India, Turkey and the UAE, Sana Aziz Khan is leaving no stone unturned to expand her work across Asian, European and other Middle Eastern countries.

Rajneesh Duggal – Dilbar Arya – Rajveer Singh Feature In Shatakshi Films Songs To Be Shot In The Picturesque Locales Of Norway

Delhi, 28 November 2022 – Shatakshi Films is going a big way to shoot their two special music videos across the beautiful landscape that is in abundance in this European country –  Norway. It is widely known about the bonding of India and Norway and to further strengthen this relationship, that aims at promoting tourism and business between the two countries, this initiative was announced by Shatakshi Films at a press conference that was organized at Aerocity in Delhi, where Ms. Martine of Norway Embassy was present as the chief guest.

These videos will be directed by Suman Guha and it features Bollywood stars Rajneesh Duggal, Dilbar Arya, Vipin Bhardwaj, Rajveer Singh and Karishma Sharma. One of these songs, ‘Teri Narazi’ is to be immediately shot in Norway, and so will be the other song  ‘Daru Da Drum’ that is a peppy Punjabi-Hindi mix number.

An ecstatic Chief Guest of this collaborative announcement event, Ms. Martine of Norway Embassy remarked, “Relations between Norway and India have always been good. We aim to further strengthen this relationship between us and therefore the Norwegian government is inviting Bollywood as well as all producers and directors for shooting there.”

“Today’s announcement is an important initiative towards strengthening the relationship between Norway and Bollywood. The locations in Norway are panoramic and very beautiful that will also aid tourism,” mentioned Ms Martine. Generally, people think of places like London, Switzerland, Paris and Dubai for shooting songs, now Norway also has an edge with positive response and incentives offered by the Norwegian government to shoot across its great locations across the country.

Bound to kick-start a beeline for this untapped European country, the songs that are going to be shot grandly there, and this will surely see an increase in tourism and trade between India and Norway. The Norwegian government has gone all out to woo the Bollywood filmmakers by providing all the necessary cooperation for shooting there. There are various incentives offered along with all around facilitation to the producers who plan to go there for shooting.

The songs ‘Teri Narazi’ and ‘Daru Da Drum’ that will be releasing thorough a big music company somewhere around the period of Christmas and New Year. What is noteworthy is that our Bollywood artistes would be shooting in minus six temperatures in Norway. Producers of Shatakshi films are looking to go all out to depict the grandeur of these songs that are sure to create a buzz in music industry.

“Our aim is to do full justice to the songs with no holds barred and we want to come up with something that speaks of quality unlike today’s video songs in Bollywood that are just churned out randomly carrying weak content,” added the producers of Shatakshi Films.

Lyricist of these songs is JD that are Composed by Swarat Chakraborty, sung by Swarat Chakraborty and Sukanya Das. Shatakshi films will adopt the tradition of earlier days where each song used to take four to five days and were being shot grandly with a lot of preparations.
