Hotel Associations’ Appeal Rejected By Bombay HC The Court Upheld The Original Order Which Favored NOVEX NOC Must For Music In Events

In a significant setback for hotel associations, the Division Bench of the Bombay High Court has refused to stay the judgment passed by Justice R.I. Chagla, which favored Novex. The court upheld the original order, stating that no case was made out by the opposing side.

This verdict reinforces two crucial points:

Novex’s Licensing Rights: Novex can continue issuing licenses for all categories of events.

Novex’s Right to Seek Relief: Novex can file cases and seek relief against venues that repeatedly infringe on their rights.

This ruling is consistent with the Bombay High Court’s earlier decision, which held that music rights holders like Novex are copyright owners and can issue music licenses without being registered as copyright societies.

दोस्तों इस मौके को हाथ से जाने जाने न दो इफटडा को मेम्बर्स की बनाना जरूरी है।डीक्टेटरशिप खत्म करनी जरूरी हैं।

Announcement Of Web Series KATHPUTLI, Ritika Kumawat Becomes A Police Officer In The Series Produced By Rajiv Kumar, Deepak B Verma

Mumbai. 13 December 2024, in this era of OTT and web series, the official announcement of another great web series “Kathputli” was made at a grand ceremony held at Classic Club, Mumbai. Ritika Kumawat has played the central character in this series based on the subject of women empowerment. The producers of the series are Rajiv Kumar, Deepak B Verma and Abdurrahman. The director is Pankaj Kapoor and the music composers are Ismail Darbar and Vivek Mahunkar. The lamp was lit by all the guests, then the program started after the national anthem. Actress Ritika Kumawat has played the role of a police officer and in uniform, she made a dashing entry in this program with a scene.

Producer Deepak B Verma said that Kathputli talks about the atrocities on women. In the name of bad customs, women are used as puppets in the society, but they are not puppets, they also have emotions and feelings in their hearts. This series shows such pain of women. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is running the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign. Through this series, we all want to send this message to the government that women should not be considered mere puppets in the society.

Actress Ritika Kumawat said that I am very excited to be a part of Kathputli. This is a very challenging role for which we all are doing a lot of preparations. I am thankful to Deepak Verma sir that he gave me the opportunity to play the central role in this series. There are many other famous actors in the series with whom I am very excited to start shooting.

Producer Deepak B Verma told that the shooting of this series is going to start from 20 December in Chaumu Samod, Mehar Kala Village, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Apart from Ritika, Jackie Shroff, Amit Lekhwani, Pankaj Kapoor etc. will be seen in the series. We are in talks with many OTT platforms and will soon inform you about its release.

The editor of the series Kathputli is Ashish Mhatre, choreographer is Ashish Patil, art and production designer is Krishna Thakur, DOP is Sudeep Chatterjee, costume designer is Neeta Lulla and EP is Anil Rawate. The web series to be made under the banner of Raindrops Entertainment will have everything – action, song, drama, emotion.

Actress Ritika Kumawat’s birthday was also celebrated by cutting a grand cake at the announcement party of the series Kathputli.
