DHADKAN – A SPECIALLY ABLED MIRACLE

Rotary District 3141 under the leadership of District Governor Shashi Sharma, community Service

Avenue and Rotary Club of Bombay West have organized a talent cum fashion show of special children on Saturday, 29th June, 2019 at the state of the art Mukesh Patel Auditorium, Vile Parle West. The program was called “DHADKAN, a Specially Abled Miracle”. The focus was on removing the stereotypes that surround disability.

The Rotary District Governor Shashi gave a very powerful message saying ”They’re not just runway models, they’re Role Models.” “As a large segment of the society still perceives the ‘differently abled’ as helpless individuals, “Dhadkan” is a small attempt to make a big change in the minds of people; an attempt to make people realize, that the physical condition is not a barrier in fulfilling their dreams.” said Group

Chief Avenue Head Rtn. Chetan Desai. “It will be enticing to see a lot of paradigms being broken and will make people endure beauty in all body types, ages and disabilities. Hitting hard on misconceptions, it will be phenomenal to watch beauty in so many facets.” Said Avenue Chair Rtn. Dr. Mona Shah.

“This is about Inclusion, this is about Diversity. This is about every individual out there who is holding himself back.” Said President of the host club, Rtn. Anand Gupta. More than 400 differently abled children from different institutions with their parents or guardians have attended the program. 100+ children performed in the talent and fashion show. 50 volunteer of NGOs working with differently abled children were also present. More than 250 Rotarians, Rotaractors and Innerwheel members encouraged and appreciate the efforts of these children with whistles and applauses. Performances of Shadow Artits on Pulwama attack theme and Touching Little Hearts (Project where Rotarians supported more than 1000 pediatric heart

surgeries of bleow poverty line children) were just awesome.

Feedback from Keya Shah(Dhirubhai Amnani School , 12th Grade Student) sums up this wonderful event very nicely. I experienced some of the most emotional moments of my life while watching the Dhadkan show. Seeing all of these special children with unbreakable spirit was so inspiring that it made me question the definition of what our society labels as ‘disabled’. The confidence with which the children came up on stage would be hard to find in most ‘normal’ people like us. I felt such a tremendous sense of empathy with the children and got this strong urge to join an organization

like the Rotary which does magnificent work to support and touch the lives of these miraculous children who have been fighting a mountain of battles since the time they were born. The smiles and the joy on the faces of the children, not one dry eye in the audience and the satisfaction on the faces of the Rotarians made for such a positive feeling in that auditorium and gave me a sense of comfort that yes there is still a long way to go but our society will get there one.

Launch of The Colonial Palate with Kriti Sanon

The Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon graced the soft launch with her presence and dined on Saturday night at this sophisticated restaurant in the town called ‘The Colonial Palate’.

Kriti stated: “I have had the most amazing food here, I’m from North India so I want that perfect Indian food. Hummus with coffee lamb was a very new combination. I loved the galaouti kebab and I couldn’t stop eating it. It amazing how all the dishes have a nice healthy aspect to it and I had a lovely time with my family.”

Mahurat Of The New Feature Film KAMAL

Producer and writer of the film, Sikander Mirza is all set to make his new appearance in the upcoming year with Kamal, a realistic feature film of a brave girl is on the brink of its actual shoot by the end of this july.  The inauguration of the movie Kamal was organized at Krishna Studio on 23rd June, 2019. The overall team of Kamal including the director Rehan Khan, producer and writer Sikander Mirza and also actor Ehsan Khan, singers Javed Ali, music director Nawab Sawab was present to fill this musical event with a great headstart.

The overall event happened to be a great hit as many popular artists of the bollywood industry came to grace this event.

 

The event ended up with some special appearances from the top media channels who came for the press conference and participated equally in covering the event all together.

Film Kamal is under the banner of Mirza Creations Pvt Ltd and is all set to mark their presence in the cinema hall soon.

फिल्म निर्माता और लेखक सिकंदर मिर्ज़ा इस वर्ष अपनी नई फ़िल्म ‘कमल’ के साथ एक बार फिर बॉलीवुड में ज़ोरदार उपस्थिति बनाने के लिए पूरी तरह से तैयार हैं।

एक बहादुर लड़की की यथार्थवादी यात्रा को दर्शाती इस फिल्म की शूटिंग जुलाई के अंत तक शरू हो जाएगी।

पिछले दिनों फिल्म ‘कमल’ का भव्य मुहूर्त गीत रिकॉर्डिंग के साथ कृष्णा स्टूडियो में आयोजित किया गया जहाँ फ़िल्म की पूरी टीम सहित निर्देशक रेहान खान, निर्माता – लेखक सिकंदर मिर्जा, अभिनेता एहसान खान, गायक जावेद अली, संगीतकार नवाब सवाब उपस्थित थे।

‘कमल’ के मुहूर्त के अवसर पर बॉलीवुड के कई लोकप्रिय कलाकारों ने अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराते हुए फ़िल्म की टीम को शुभकामनाएं प्रदान की।

फिल्म ‘कमल’ मिर्ज़ा क्रिएशन्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के बैनर तले बन रही है और जल्द ही सिनेमा हॉल में प्रदर्शन के तारीख की घोषणा की जाएगी।

निर्माता सिकन्दर मिर्जा ने बताया कि फ़िल्म के सभी कलाकारों और तकनीशियनों को जल्द ही फाइनल कर लिया जाएगा।

Aly Goni- Kangna Sharma Starrer Tere Jism 2 To Increase Temperature This Monsoon

Aslam Khan’s directorial Tere Jism 2 starring actors Aly Goni and Kangna Sharma went on-air yesterday and it is literally adding up to the temperature. The song has already crossed 1 million. Conceptualised as a story of affection and love, Aslam Khan is proving his menace when it comes to music videos.

Speaking about this project he said, “It was amazing working with Aly and Kangna. It has been a superb experience. Tere Jism got lots of love from the audience and hence I thought of making a sequel of it. And this type with someone who can take it to another level. I’d only ask the audience to shower their love and blessings on us.”

Tere Jism 2 is the second instalment of the popular Sara Khan and Angad Hasija starrer Tere Jism.
