CELEBRATING WOMAN: RANGOLI 4.0 BY UNIMO UNIVERSE OF MOMS

It was indeed a pleasure to witness the RANGOLI 4.0 by UNIMO, Universe of Moms, which is world’s largest community of mothers with 3.25 Lakh digitally, connected mothers & 21 chapters across the globe. It is the only Mommy community endorsed by Facebook & has been appreciated personally by Sheryl Sandberg ( COO of Facebook) .Our Founder Neha Kare Kanabar is a voluntary admin chosen by Facebook to lead the “ Facebook Community Leadership circle for Mumbai & Ahmedabad”

Entering its 4th edition of Rangoli Awards that is about “ A girl Next door with an Extraordinary story”, honoured 70 women, 5 men and 5 kids under its various category of Awards in 2019 who were shortlisted from over 850 entries received from all over.

This year, Rangoli4.0 by UNIMO also joined hands with the #IWD2019 theme #BalanceforBetter to fill in the gender gap with an agenda to commemorate and celebrate gender parity & work towards Women’s Advancement.

   

UNIMO has another largest hyper local chapter named as INMO, Indore Moms which has 28,500 mothers in it.

The Awards,  keeping the essence of Rangoli- the beautiful decor of several colours was categorised as VIBGYOR. Rising Stars, Community bridge builders, Talent Par Excellence, Hustlers, Business Woman, UnSung Heroes and 30 under 50 awards were identified with each colour of VIBGYOR in the same order.

A social cause event believing that women are truly empowered but they need to be celebrated and appreciated and given their due share of recognition, this coveted award show was attended by over 300 plus attendees.  Women were looking gorgeous in the cocktail gowns while the men were seen sporting Tuxedos. This year the families were invited to the event as well.  This event was a true example of celebrating womanhood and supporting moms as the entire event was managed, organised and executed by mothers right from Event management to Videographers, Photographers. The Entire Event was powered by “TATA Sampann”. The Mothers got Goodie Bags filled with TATA Sampann’s products who were the “Title Sponsor” to Rangoli4.0.

This was organised at the Holiday Inn, Mumbai International Airport who were the “Hospitality Partners” to this event, It was a perfect venue to be inspired and motivated as the ladies share their extraordinary stories. The Community is currently headed by Komal Kare Joshi, Snigdha Kare Sharma, Jui Shah, Namrta Sharma, Devisha Shah Jatakia, Poonam Pandit Turakhia & Shobha Pahuja Gajjar as Presidents.

These awardees were truly inspiring as they are an ordinary woman like anyone you see around, but they all had an extraordinary story. For the very first time, keeping the Balance for Better theme, the men who contribute in their own special ways by supporting our strong woman were facilitated under the category of UnSung Heroes. Another first was motivating the kids between the age of 5-15 and supporting them to choose their field and life ahead by recognising their talent in whatever field they excel under Talent Par Excellence category.

A Beautiful Fashion Show was organised by the Moms again, for the moms where the 25 Gorgeous moms sizzled the stage of Holiday Inn in the Grand Ballroom with their confidence and Beauty alike.

The evening witnessed the presence of eminent personalities from different areas. Manasi Parekh Gohil, Sandip Soparrkar,, Dr. Swati Popat Vats,, Anju Kish,, Shunali Khullar Shroff, Dr. Zinal Unadkat, Zenobia Khodaji, Rushali Arora, Mrinalini Kher, Dr. Anita Soni, Yog Rishi Swami Karmveer Ji, Dr. Manjusha Kadam, Archana Kochhar Namrata Thakker & RJ Archana Pania from Radio City graced the occasion as Chief Guests.

The Gorgeous ladies Simran Deenz Ahuja and Sheila Navlakha compeered the show with amazing enthusiasm and kept the JOSH high. The attendees were not only seen getting inspired and motivated but having a gala time throughout.

The RANGOLI 4.0 was a Grand Success. The event ended at late night, but we are sure, it has given the 300 moms a new dream, a new motivation, a new belief and a new light to come out of their shades and stand in the limelight. UNIMO Universe of Moms is contributing to society by large by making each girl believe- I am my own Rangoli.

पिछले दिनों अँधेरी पूर्व के हॉलिडे इन में, यूनिमो यूनिवर्स ऑफ मॉम्स द्वारा “रंगोली” का शानदार पुरस्कार समारोह सम्पन्न हुआ। यूनिमो के साथ पूरे विश्व की साढ़े तीन लाख से ज़्यादा माताएं जुड़ी हैं, व फेसबुक की सी ओ ओ शेरील सैंडबर्ग ने इसे काफी सराहा, इस संस्था की फाउंडर नेहा करे कानाबर को वॉलेंटरी एडमिन फेसबुक सी एल सी का मुम्बई एवं अहमदाबाद के लिए बनाया गया। इसका आयोजन कम्युनिटी हेड कोमल करे जोशी, स्निग्धा करे शर्मा, जूही शाह, नम्रता शर्मा, देविषा शाह जटाकिया, पूनम पंडित तुरखिया, शोभा पाहुजा गज्जर इन तमाम प्रेसिडेंट ने किया। पूरे कार्यक्रम का संचालन सिमरन डीनज़ आहूजा एवं शीला नवलखा द्वारा बखूबी किया गया।

सैकड़ो की संख्या में लोग उपस्तिथ थे, खास कर महिलाएं। विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से उल्लेखनीय लोग जैसे मानसी पारेख गोहिल, संदीप सोपारकर, डॉ स्वाति पोपट वत्स, अंजू किश, शुनाली खुल्लर श्रॉफ, डॉ ज़िनल उनाडकर, जेनोबिया खोडाजी, रुषाली अरोरा, मृणालिनी खेर,डॉ अनिता सोनी, योग ऋषि स्वामी कर्मवीर जी, डॉ मंजूषा कदम, अर्चना कोचर, नम्रता ठक्कर एवं “रेडियो सिटी” की आर जे अर्चना पनिया जैसे और कई लोग उपस्तिथ थे।

अवॉर्ड कैटेगरी इस प्रकार थी राइजिंग स्टार्स, कम्युनिटी ब्रिज बिल्डर्स, टैलेंट पार एक्सीलेंस, हस्तलर्स, बिज़नेस वीमेन, अनसंग हीरोज एवं थर्टी अंडर फिफ्टी अवार्ड्स के भिन्न रंगों में दिया गया।

रंगोली अवार्ड का उद्देश्य एक साधारण महिला की असाधारण कहानी को पुरस्कृत करता है।

पूरे कार्यक्रम को “टाटा सम्पन्न” द्वारा पावर किया गया। मॉम्स को टाटा सम्पन्न के प्रोडक्ट्स से भरा गूड़ी बैग प्रदान किया गया, टाटा ‘रंगोली’ के टाइटल स्पॉन्सर भी थे।

National American University’s Third Golden Star Award By Dr. Abhiram Kulshreshtha

The prestigious 3rd NIER’s Golden Star Awards-2019 was organized on 30th March at The Classique Club, Andheri, Mumbai organized by ACS Media Corporation and powered by National Institute for Education & Research wherein distinguished personalities of various fields were awarded for their contribution to the society.

The guest of Honour was Sh. Saawan Kumar Tak, Indian film director, producer and lyricist, Sh. Mohit Chauhan, Famous Bollywood Singer, Sh. Terence Lewis, International Choreographer, Rakesh Bedi, Famous Indian Comedian, Sh. Sunil Pal, Famous Stand up Comedian.

The famous personalities and some famous organizations who were awarded include Dr. A.K. Gupta, Dr. Masooma Ladiwala, Adharshila Play Way Convent School, Ms. Ragini Khanna, Ms. Shubhangi Atri, Ms. Aakanksha Sakharkar, Mr. Savio D’sa, Mr. Karan Anoop Khanna, Ms. Gunjan Saini etc.

 

Shri Mukesh Kulshreshtha, IRS, was also present to illuminate the colourful event with his gracious presence.

नेशनल अमेरिकन यूनिवर्सिटी कन्वोकेशन नगोल्डन स्टार तीसरा अवार्डस २०१९ में डॉ अभिराम कुलश्रेष्ठ

डांसर और कोरियोग्राफर टेरेंस लुईस और मशहूर सिंगर मोहित चौहान अब डॉक्टर बन गए हैं। जी हां अब आप डॉ मोहित चौहान और डॉ टेरेंस लुईस कह सकते हैं।

दरअसल इन दोनों कलाकारों को मुंबई में ऑनरेरी डॉक्टर की उपाधि दी गई है। मुंबई के अंधेरी में गोल्डन स्टार अवार्डस २०१९ का आयोजन रहेजा क्लासिक क्लब में हुआ। जहां

इन दोनों को डॉक्ट्रेट के सम्मान से नवाजा गया। इस अवॉर्ड फनकशन के आयोजक थे डॉ अभिराम कुलश्रेष्ठ।

इस अवसर पर विशेष अतिथि के रूप में हाजी हैदर आजम, मुंबई भाजपा के वायस प्रेसिडेंट भी मौजूद थे जिनका सम्मान किया गया।

यहां टेरेंस लुईस ने अपनी परफॉर्मेंस से दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। । कॉमेडियन सुनील पाल को भी गुलदस्ता देकर सम्मानित किया गया। यहां मोहित चौहान भी मौजूद थे। सबसे पहले सुनील पाल को अवार्ड दिया मोहित चौहान और लुईस ने। डॉ ए के गुप्ता को भी इस अवॉर्ड से नवाजा गया। आपको बता दें कि

गोल्डन स्टार अवार्डस की यह तीसरी वर्षगांठ थी। अभिनेत्री रागिनी खन्ना को भी यह अवॉर्ड मिला। नेशनल अमेरिकन यूनिवर्सिटी कन्वोकेशन २०१९ के इस शानदार इवेंट में कई मेहमान मौजूद थे।

आपको बता दें कि टेरेंस सिर्फ एक अच्छे डांसर और कोरियोग्राफर ही नहीं है, बल्कि स्टंट परफॉर्म करने का शौक भी रखते हैं। ‘खतरों के खिलाड़ी’ सीजन 3 में भी वह काफी मजबूत दावेदार बनकर उभरे थे। टेरेंस अब तक ‘डांस इंडिया डांस’ और ‘नच बलिए’ जैसे कई रिएलिटी शोज के जज रह चुके हैं।

डाॅ अभिराम कुलश्रेष्ठ ने इस अवसर पर मीडिया से बात करते हुए कहा कि दरअसल मोहित चौहान और टेरेंस अपने अपने काम में इतने माहिर हैं कि उनका कोई सानी नहीं है। जहां मोहित की आवाज़ में जादू है वहीं टेरेंस का डांस देखकर आप हैरान रह जाते हैं। स्टेज पर उन्होंने “तुझे याद कर लिया है आयत की तरह” गीत पर जो डांस पेश किया, उनकी परफॉर्मेंस देख कर सब हैरान रह गए। उन्हें डॉक्ट्रेट की उपाधि देकर हम सब गौरवान्वित महसूस कर रहे हैं। इस मौके पर मीडिया से बात करते हुए मोहित चौहान और टेरेंस ने डाॅ अभिराम कुलश्रेष्ठ का शुक्रिया अदा किया कि वे अब डॉक्टर भी बन गए हैं। मोहित ने यहां यह भी कहा कि उन्होंने गायकी या संगीत को किसी स्कूल में नहीं सीखा बल्कि अपने सीनियर्स को सुनकर अच्छा संगीत सुनकर ऑब्जर्व करके गायकी की बारीकी को समझा सीखा और यह मुकाम हासिल किया।

Films Today Magazine Special Issue Launch At Juhu Plaza Hotel

For the past 13 years, the special issue of Bollywood’s leading magazine “Films Today” was launched at the Juhu Plaza Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai. This film magazine has so far been launching Bollywood stars on the cover page, but this time instead of any Bollywood star, such stars have been launched on their cover page which has been associated with social work for a long time.

Yes, we are talking about Satyendra Pal Singh Ahuja, who is the Mumbai President of the All India Anti-Terrorist Front, whose national president is MS Bitta. पिछले 13 वर्षों से बॉलीवुड जी अग्रणी पत्रिका ” फिल्म्स टुडे ” के स्पेशल  अंक की लांचिंग मुम्बई जुहू के जुहू प्लाजा होटल में सम्पन्न हुई । यह फ़िल्म पत्रिका अब तक बॉलीवुड के सितारों को कवर पेज पर लांच करती आई है,लेकिन इस बार किसी बॉलीवुड के सितारे के बजाए ऐसे सितारे को अपने कवर पेज पर लांच किया जो काफी समय से सामाजिक कार्यो से जुड़े हुए है ।

जी हां हम बात कर रहे हैं सत्येंद्र पाल सिंह आहुजा के बारे में  जो आल इंडिया एंटी टैरोरिस्ट फ्रंट के मुंबई अध्यक्ष हैं जिसके  राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष एमएस बिट्टा हैं। इसके सतह ही  सत्येंद्र पाल सिंह आहूजा  मुंबई कपड़ा मार्केट के भी प्रेसीडेंट हैं और बहुत सारी सामाजिक संस्थाओं से जुड़कर सामाजिक कार्य कर रहे है ।इस अवसर पर फिल्म्स टुडे के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर राजेश श्रीवास्तव को बधाई देने के लिए तमाम गणमान्य व्यकि उपस्थित थे जिसमें बॉलीवुड के जाने माने संगीतकार रामशंकर , सुनील पाल ,मिथिला पुरोहित ,सुभ मल्होत्रा , सिमरन मल्होत्रा, बाबू भाई थीबा आदि शामिल थे ।

Actor Allah Rahi Graces Expandable Awards 2019

Actors like Allah Rahi, Rasika Dugal, Mishti Chakraborty, Pia Bajpai and several other Bollywood stars attended the Expandable Awards 2019.

The star-studded night of March 24, 2019, was huge for the media fraternity at the Expandables awards. Allah Rahi, Pia Bajpai, Rasika Dugal, Mishti Chakraborty, Anuritta Jha, Georgia Adriani, Aditi Gautam, Vipin Sharma, Hunar Gandhi, Rohan Mehra, Tina Philip, Ritu Chauhan, Elena Fernandes, Sanjay Gagnani, Bidita Bag, Woodpecker Movies producer Kiran Bhatia, and Vijay Varma graced the event among many others who attended Expandables Awards 2019.

When questioned about his favourite actors and upcoming projects, he says that he is a big fan of actor Nawazzudin Siddiqui and he is an inspiration for him to sustain in the industry. British Asian entrepreneurs paving the way for the next generation on a night highlighting the success & contribution of Asian-owned businesses in the UK

22^nd March 2019, London, UK – British Asian entrepreneurs and wealth creators were celebrated and honoured tonight at the annual Asian Business Awards at London’s Westminster Park Plaza. Now in their 22nd year and hosted by the Asian Media Group, publishers of Eastern Eye, the awards recognise the contribution and achievements of outstanding business leaders in the UK.

The Asian Business Awards saluted both Asian entrepreneurs and businesses, which created jobs and had a significant impact on the country’s economy.

   

The awards ceremony also saw the launch of the 2019 Asian Rich List, a compilation of the 101 wealthiest Asians in Britain, highlighting exceptional entrepreneurial achievement over the past 12 months. The Asian Rich List is the definitive and most authoritative guide to Asian wealth in Britain and shines a light onthe substantial economic achievements of a community.

It was a night of double triumph for the pioneering Hinduja family, who topped the Asian Rich List for the sixth consecutive year and also picked up the Philanthropy Award for their long-standing charitable endeavours with the Hinduja Foundation. The foundation, which was started in 1969 and celebrates its milestone 50^th year this year, works in a wide range of areas such as education, healthcare, promotion of arts and culture, sports and social welfare.

Haroon and Farouq Sheikh of CareTech, which runs a large number of established residential care homes in the UK, picked up the top award of the evening, the prestigious Asian Business of the Year award.It was a successful night for the care homes industry as Mala Agarwal, Managing Director of Athena Care Homes collected the Businesswoman of the Year award and CHD Living were the winners of the Care Home Operator of the Year Award.

The galaevening was hosted by BBC Radio Five Live presenter NihalArthanayake and welcomed politicians, celebrities, influencers, entrepreneurs, business leaders and philanthropists to celebrate the diverse spectrum of Asian business and the invaluable contribution made to British economy and society.
