Kishin Awatramani’s first solo exhibition ‘Illuminations’ has been organised at the Jehangir (Hirji) Art Gallery, Mumbai from 18th to 24th March. Each abstract painting in this exhibition is meticulously composed by complex layering of luscious hues. They exude a neat, high-wired act between movement and a Zen-like stillness.The artist’s greatest pursuit is to bring out his inner emotions through application of colors, textures and highlights. These creations provide the artist with endless potentialities enabling him an escape.

 

The exhibition have been inaugurated at the auspicious hands of the Chief Guest, Dr. Keki Turel, renowned Neurosurgeon and Mr. Kerul Patel, acclaimed Karate Black belt holder and TEDx speaker on 18th March, 2019.

The Mumbai based self-taught artist is a successful businessperson. 10 years ago when Kishin surrendered to his inner calling of colors, he received extensive guided training in fine arts, acquiring various artistic skills and techniques. With sheer dedication and focus, Kishin has created art every single day since then. Each painting is a whole universe within itself, alive with emotions and throbbing with elation.

उन्होंने बताया की गाने की प्रेरणा श्रोत उनकी स्वर्गीय पत्नी है । गाने की सफलता से  उत्साहित हीरू थडानी जल्द ही अपना दूसरा रोमांटिक सॉन्ग गाने वाले हैं ।

Gita Championship League Goes Worldwide Cutting Across Religious And National Boundaries

Mumbai – 23^rd March 2019 – In one of the most spectacular exhibitions of socio-cultural harmony, the annual Gita Championship League Award ceremony was organised by ISKCON, Girgaon Chowpatty at Patidar Samaj Hall, last evening. Taking inspiration from the contest here in India, it also started in many other countries abroad like Malaysia, Mauritius, Middle East etc., where 2000 to 3000 students participate in such contest.

Gita Champions League contest (GCL) 2019 witnessed 6050 students participating from 78 schools from various parts of Mumbai. It was also kicked off in various parts of India including Goa, Belgaum, Nasik Gujarat and Indore.

On the occasion, Radhanath Swami Maharaj, ISKCON Spiritual Guru said, “Gita is not just a book, but it is a 5000-year old deep transcendental knowledge, which is relevant even today. Having withstood centuries and been a life-coach to many great personalities including Mahatma Gandhi, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Mahatma Phule Bhagwat Gita’s essence is probably the most relevant in today’s context where children have no patience, are living in a world of instant results, developing serious problems like depression and increased incidents of suicides etc. Early age learnings from Bhagwatam can make a profound impact on children as they grow and help them deal with complex problems of life.”

As of today, more than 1,35,000 registrations from over 1400 schools of various cities in India have happened. GCL was participated by children across schools, age-groups, communities and religions from all over Mumbai (South Mumbai, Mira Road, Bhayander, Dahisar, Malad, Borivali, Powai, Chembur, Bhandup, Mulund, Dombivli, Kalyan, Amabernath, Badlapur and Wangani etc.

H.G. Shyamanand Prabhu, President ISKCON Girgaon Chowpatty along with Baldev Prabhu and Mukundmala Prabhu gave away the prizes to the student winners. In his speech addressing the gathering of students, their parents & faculties, Shyamanand Prabhu highlighted the necessity of educating our inner self with spiritual wisdom.

School students from 5th to 10th standard are eligible to participate in this competition, where they showcase their practical knowledge and understanding of Bhagwat Geeta, the epic life-coach scripture.

GCL was started in the year 2010 and since then it is continuing every year and thousands of students from hundreds of schools have participated every year.

Rang De – Where Colours Speak A Grand Event Celebrated on March 16th 2019 – Evershine Club Thakur Village Kandivali East By Maa2Mom And Avsar

It was a great Saturday on 16th March 2019, when ‘Rang De’ was Celebrated entire day organised by Maa2Mom & Avsar many celebrities like Nandita Puri, Anaida Parvaneh, Gurpreet Gurah, Delnaz Balsara & Mehak Mirza Prabhu were guest of honour.

Rang De was a unique Pre Holi Bash, where men, women and children enjoyed the entire day upto late evening. Various types of stall having food variations, cosmetics and handloom products were displayed.

A mind blow stage show was put up by underprivileged kids of Matrabhoomi School supported by NGO Inseed and beautifully choreographed by Ritu Manek and Team

    

Group dance contests judged by Ritu Manek, Sneha Shah, Vidya Sriram and Akash, power packed Zumba, musical performance by Pamela Jain, Krishna Berua and Sarvpreet Singh created waves, Odyssey dance with Ganesh vandana was mesmerising, highlight was Talaash-A collaboration of story narration by Swaraj Singh, with live flute music by Shushant Singh and painting by Rupesh Sharma. Kids put up an amazing show of Dance and Fashion Show choreographed by Akkash which showed all colours of Rainbow and was applauded a lot by the audience.

This Grand Pre Holi Bash “Rang De” was organized by Jyoti Agrawal founder of Maa2Mom, along with Divya D Solanki & Divya J Solanki of Avsar.

Entire show was beautifully hosted by RJ Rahil Khan of 107.1 FM.
