First Irish Film Festival Of India Saw The Light Of The Day At AAFT

Noida: It is a historical day as once again we have been able to create another First ever Irish Film Festival of India along with the opening of 115^th Batch of Asian Academy of Film and Television. This new IFFI in New Delhi has already created super vibes in the creative circle,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios at the opening of Irish Film Festival at Noida Film City.

“I am thankful to Sandeep Marwah ICMEI and Indo Ireland Film and Cultural Forum for organizing first ever Irish Film Festival of India. The new chapter has begun in the friendship of India and Ireland. This must continue and we would like to make it an annual event now onwards,” said H.E. Brendan Ward Ambassador of Ireland to India in the capacity of Chief Guest of this glamorous show.

What an excellent idea to have festival of Irish Films. We had teachers from Ireland in our schools and colleges, including in churches years back. The two countries had a similar fight against a common adversary and there were many ties between the respective independence movements in the two countries. Many of the provisions of the constitution of India were drawn from their Irish counterpart, the constitution of Ireland. Cinema brings very strong cultural ties,” said Stuti Kacker former Secretary Government of India and Now Chancellor of University.

Overwhelmed with the huge turnover and house full audience Siraj Zaidi Actor Producer specially flown from Dublin said,” Dream Come Ture- I have been planning to have festival of Irish Films from last twelve years, since I started festival of Indian Films in Dublin, Ireland. I am indebted to Marwah Studios to take up this event. Best of four films are here to bring two countries together through art and culture,”.

The first IFFI festival (Irish Film Festival of India) in Noida is unexpectedly very vibrant and energetic. The films are marvelous. I have been to Ireland few times, we are very close to the culture of Ireland. We have a very long relationship with the people of Ireland,” added Atul Tiwari renowned Script writer and actor from Mumbai.

I had the pleasure to be in Ireland two three times and I have always been impressed by the films and culture of Ireland. Now this festival has opened many gates of relationships with Ireland,” expressed Nilesh Malhotra Producer, Director, actor from Mumbai.

A scholarship of AAFT Asian Academy of Film and Television was presented to Irish Ambassador H.E. Brendan Ward on this occasion. Sandeep Marwah also presented Life Membership of International Film and Television Club to the dignities. An exhibition of paintings by Tanisha Bakshi was another attraction. The event was supported by Indo Ireland Film and Cultural Forum, International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and World Peace Development and Research Foundation.

Actress Harmisha Mistry is making her Bollywood debut with the film Kuch Khatta Ho Jaye

Producer Ajay Soni is working on multiple projects under his production house Seven Horse Studios. Singer Amit Gupta is coming up with two Punjabi music videos soon. The name of one song is Amritsari Jugni, the other song is named Ankhiyaan Nu. Amit Gupta is the composer and singer of both these songs as well as featuring. Whom Raj Gupta is directing and Ajay Soni is the producer of these videos. Actress Harmisha Mistry is also working with Ajay Soni, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut soon.

Mumbai based actress Harmisha Mistry is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Kuch Khatta Ho Jaye opposite Guru Randhawa. Harmisha is very excited to do this film with Guru Randhawa, Saiee Manjrekar and Anupam Kher. The film will release in January or February next year. Talking about her character in the film, Harmisha said that she is playing the role of Saiee Manjrekar’s younger sister.

Harmisha, who has done B4U’s official music video Farari, has also done Udit Narayan’s video Gore Gore Gaalon Pe. Harmisha, who has done sirf Money and a horror web series with Sudesh Berry, will be making her feature film debut with Kuch Khatta Ho Jaye. This comedy film is being made under the direction of G Ashok. Harmisha had an amazing experience working with Saiee Manjrekar and Anupam Kher.

She has been dancing since she was studying in third standard. She likes Kiara Advani the most. Kabir Singh and SherShah are her favorite films. She likes Kiara’s cute face and hot body.  who dreams of working in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, wants to share the screen with Vicky Kaushal. She had a memorable experience shooting for the film in Agra and is now very excited to do a Punjabi song with director Raj Gupta.

Singer Amit Gupta is also very excited about these two songs. Raj Gupta is his friend for many years and he is also happy to work under the banner of Ajay Soni.

Rajneesh Duggal – Dilbar Arya – Rajveer Singh Feature In Shatakshi Films Songs To Be Shot In The Picturesque Locales Of Norway

Delhi, 28 November 2022 – Shatakshi Films is going a big way to shoot their two special music videos across the beautiful landscape that is in abundance in this European country –  Norway. It is widely known about the bonding of India and Norway and to further strengthen this relationship, that aims at promoting tourism and business between the two countries, this initiative was announced by Shatakshi Films at a press conference that was organized at Aerocity in Delhi, where Ms. Martine of Norway Embassy was present as the chief guest.

These videos will be directed by Suman Guha and it features Bollywood stars Rajneesh Duggal, Dilbar Arya, Vipin Bhardwaj, Rajveer Singh and Karishma Sharma. One of these songs, ‘Teri Narazi’ is to be immediately shot in Norway, and so will be the other song  ‘Daru Da Drum’ that is a peppy Punjabi-Hindi mix number.

An ecstatic Chief Guest of this collaborative announcement event, Ms. Martine of Norway Embassy remarked, “Relations between Norway and India have always been good. We aim to further strengthen this relationship between us and therefore the Norwegian government is inviting Bollywood as well as all producers and directors for shooting there.”

“Today’s announcement is an important initiative towards strengthening the relationship between Norway and Bollywood. The locations in Norway are panoramic and very beautiful that will also aid tourism,” mentioned Ms Martine. Generally, people think of places like London, Switzerland, Paris and Dubai for shooting songs, now Norway also has an edge with positive response and incentives offered by the Norwegian government to shoot across its great locations across the country.

Bound to kick-start a beeline for this untapped European country, the songs that are going to be shot grandly there, and this will surely see an increase in tourism and trade between India and Norway. The Norwegian government has gone all out to woo the Bollywood filmmakers by providing all the necessary cooperation for shooting there. There are various incentives offered along with all around facilitation to the producers who plan to go there for shooting.

The songs ‘Teri Narazi’ and ‘Daru Da Drum’ that will be releasing thorough a big music company somewhere around the period of Christmas and New Year. What is noteworthy is that our Bollywood artistes would be shooting in minus six temperatures in Norway. Producers of Shatakshi films are looking to go all out to depict the grandeur of these songs that are sure to create a buzz in music industry.

“Our aim is to do full justice to the songs with no holds barred and we want to come up with something that speaks of quality unlike today’s video songs in Bollywood that are just churned out randomly carrying weak content,” added the producers of Shatakshi Films.

Lyricist of these songs is JD that are Composed by Swarat Chakraborty, sung by Swarat Chakraborty and Sukanya Das. Shatakshi films will adopt the tradition of earlier days where each song used to take four to five days and were being shot grandly with a lot of preparations.

Actor Sharad Malhotra told that this is a very sweet romantic song depicting innocent love. The video has been shot in Agra, the city of Taj Mahal. Although it started raining during the shoot but somehow we managed to shoot it, glad the song is getting a good response. It looks like a film song and not an album song.

Nad performed his own stunts which was the biggest challenge for him “The action scenes were a bit taxing including having to jump from a bridge, and the tight schedule since we were shooting in winter, we had to adapt to the daylight”

Blame his appealing looks and extraordinary talent, the upfront ambitious actor has triumphed upon the hearts of millions with his stint in a well-loved Hollywood project ‘NSR The Jade’ in which he not only played the the lead role, he also carried his own stunts including driving cars in high-speed chase, piloting a speed boat in the open sea, and standing in a fast-moving helicopter.

Nad recently signed 3 new Bollywood Movies and without revealing much, he has already started shooting for his next Bollywood project in Turkey and Santorini says ” I can’t talk about the project now, however I will let the production disclose more in due course”
