In its continued endeavor to support the country’s tourism revival efforts whilst fortifying connectivity in its single largest market India, SriLankan Airlines hosted yet another exceptional group of Indian celebrities and influencers. The group comprised of social media influencers, youtubers & actors specifically from the South Indian cities and arrived in Colombo on Saturday, 26th March.

For six days,  these influencers toured across the island through a curated itinerary featuring Sri Lanka’s rich ecological and cultural vibrancy entwined with the inherent island attributes of luxury, wellness and hospitality.

The influencers group includes names like Avika Sameer Gor (famous celebrity and renowned by its character of Anandi in Indian Television History), Gehna Haresh Sippy (Tollywood Actor of Chor Bazaar fame), Apoorva Srinivasan Aringundrum (Vloggers from MySouthDiva) Ruhani Sharma (Tollywood celebrity) Tanya Hope (Telugu, Tamil & Kannada Celebrity) and Manoj Kumar Katokar ( celebrity photographer and creator of Mysouthdiva ). Through their individual social media platforms, their stories of travel have been reaching lakhs of their followers and travellers in India.

The group stayed at Cinnamon Bentota Beach for the entire duration and will travell across nearby scenic destinations. The group will also visited a nearby rainforest reserve area for “tree plantation” activity. The ground services were handled by Sri Lanka’s leading DMC (Destination Management Company), Walkers Tours.

MySouthDiva has also planned their annual calendar shoot with the influencers at the property with Sri Lanka in the backdrop. The trip has been a huge success.

सिनेमा की विख्यात अदाकारा सुजाता मेहता को उनकी फिल्म ‘मुद्दा 370 जम्मू एंड कश्मीर’ के लिए “प्राइम इंटरनेशनल फ़िल्म फेस्टिवल 2022″ में बेस्ट ऎक्ट्रेस के अवार्ड से नवाजा गया, साथ ही उन्हें लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवार्ड भी दिया गया। राकेश सावंत के डायरेक्शन में बनी यह फिल्म कश्मीर से हुए पलायन के दर्द की कहानी बड़े पर्दे पर पेश करती है। सुजाता मेहता ने बेस्ट ऎक्ट्रेस और लाइफटाइम अचीवमेंट अवार्ड प्राप्त करने के बाद कहा कि मुझे बेहद खुशी है कि इस फ़िल्म के लिए मुझे यह सम्मान मिला। मैं फ़िल्म के निर्देशक राकेश सावंत और पूरी टीम को धन्यवाद कहना चाहती हूँ। साथ ही इस अवार्ड के आयोजक और ज्यूरी मेम्बर्स का भी दिल से शुकिया। यह रोल मेरे लिए काफी चैलेंजिंग था और यह फ़िल्म बेहद प्रभावी बनी है।”

आपको बता दें कि सुजाता मेहता ने बॉलीवुड की ढेर सारी फिल्मों में अभिनय किया है। प्रतिघात (1987) में उन्होंने लीड रोल किया था जबकि यतीम (1988) और गुनाह (1993) में उन्होंने सपोर्टिंग रोल किया था। उन्होंने नेशनल अवार्ड विनर मलयालम फ़िल्म पुरुषार्थम (1987) में लीड रोल किया था।

उल्लेखनीय है कि हितेन तेजवानी, मोहन जोशी, जरीना वहाब और अंजली पांडे की मुख्य भूमिका वाली इस फिल्म में राखी सावंत का एक आइटम नंबर भी है उसे बॉलीवुड की लीजेंड सिंगर आशा भोसले जी ने आवाज़ दी है. इस फिल्म की काफी शूटिंग उत्तराखण्ड में की गई थी।

बॉलीवुड के मशहूर डायरेक्टर राकेश सावंत को उनकी फिल्म ‘मुद्दा 370 जेएंड के’ के लिए “प्राइम इंटरनेशनल फ़िल्म फेस्टिवल 2022” में बेस्ट डायरेक्टर के अवार्ड से नवाजा गया। यह फिल्म कश्मीर के ज्वलंत मुद्दों और कश्मीर से हुए पलायन के दर्द की दास्ताँ बयान करती है। राकेश सावंत ने सर्वश्रेष्ठ निर्देशक का पुरस्कार प्राप्त करने के बाद कहा कि मैं इस अवार्ड के लिए इस शो के सभी आयोजकों का शुक्रिया अदा करता हूँ। यह फ़िल्म दरअसल टीम वर्क का नतीजा है। बड़ी मुश्किलों से हमने कश्मीर के मुद्दे पर यह फ़िल्म बनाई थी और रिलीज की थी जिसे दर्शकों ने सराहा और आज इस फ़िल्म के लिए अवार्ड मिलना मेरे लिए प्राउड मोमेंट है। मेरे सभी कलाकार, टेक्नीशियन टीम का धन्यवाद, जिन्होंने इसे बनाने में अहम योगदान दिया है। मै खुद को बेहद भाग्यशाली मानता हूं कि मुझे फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री में राजेश खन्ना जैसे सुपरस्टार के साथ काम करने का मौका मिला, उन्हें डायरेक्ट करने का अवसर मिला।

इस फ़िल्म में भी मुझे हितेन तेजवानी, मोहन जोशी, जरीना वहाब जैसे कलाकारों के साथ काम करने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ।

गौरतलब है कि हितेन तेजवानी, मोहन जोशी, जरीना वहाब और अंजली पांडे की मुख्य भूमिका वाली इस फिल्म में राखी सावंत का एक स्पेशल सॉन्ग भी है जिसे आशा भोसले ने गाया है. इस फिल्म की 50 प्रतिशत शूटिंग उत्तराखण्ड में की गई है।

Stations of The Cross at Don Bosco Centre Karjat Draws Pilgrims And Nature Lovers

Mumbai, 4th April 2022: A small town Don Bosco Centre in Karjat near Mumbai, which installed a Stations of The Cross – depicting the crucifixion of Christ, has become a local centre of attraction. Karjat town is located in the outskirts of Mumbai city in Raigad district of Maharashtra. Besides Christians, believers of other faiths visit the 67-acre Don Bosco Centre property with rolling hills for nature walk, prayer and meditation.

The Stations of The Cross, also known as The Way of the Cross, is a depiction of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and accompanying prayers. The resurrection of Christ from the dead is celebrated as Easter – the oldest of Christian festivals. The 54-piece life-size tableau, installed by Church Art of Kolkata, start with the condemnation of an innocent man, forcefully loading the cross on him, and making him carry the instrument of his death to the hill of execution on Calvary. Notable among the representations are – the moment Jesus meets his mother; women who weep over the sufferings of Jesus; woman who dares to do an act of kindness toward Jesus; or a stranger pressed in to help Jesus carry the cross.

“The Stations of The Cross installed by Church Art before Easter has become an added attraction for groups of pilgrims and also others who arrive here by bus or train. The people come to seek peace, tranquility and appreciate the unique spiritual atmosphere. The pilgrims start out on the nature trail with devotional props like wooden crosses, crown of thorns and nails signifying the instruments of torture inflicted on Jesus in His final moments before crucifixion,” says Director of the Centre, Salesian Fr. Anthony Santarita.

Church Art is a Kolkata-based firm which creates a wide variety of aesthetically-appealing works of art and undertakes spiritual and artistic projects as per the canonical concepts and guidelines. Church Art has so far installed over 14 Stations of The Cross across India and abroad, including the one at the famous Bandel Church in Hoogly district of West Bengal.

“Most of the The Stations of The Cross installed by Church Art across India and abroad have a spiritual and artistic appeal which draws people from all walks of life,” said Mr Subrata Ganguly, founder of Church Art.

With the onset of spring season, April is a month of religious and cultural festivities in India cutting across different religions and geographies. For the Christians the holy season of Lent with its 40 days of prayer and penance will end on Saturday 16th April culminating on Easter Sunday marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

For Christians, the week in which occurs Good Friday and Easter is considered Holy Week which starts from Holy Thursday marking the institution of the Holy Eucharist and remembering Jesus washing the feet of his twelve disciples setting an example of servant leadership before his torture, crucifixion and death on the cross.

The Stations of The Cross at the Don Bosco Centre at Karjat is spread over one-kilometer trail offering nature walks and free counselling to people of all faiths on every Friday of the year since the beginning of Lent. Pilgrims are also welcomed daily during the holy season of lent which started on 2^nd March and will end on 16th April 2022.

Santarita says, “Several people who came with knee and spinal complaints and due for surgery, testify that after the completion of the way of the cross they experienced healing.” One of the helpers at Don Bosco Centre Salesian Br. Alister has collected some of the healing testimonies on video.

The Don Bosco Centre at Karjat under Salesian Fathers are a part of the Bassein East India Association also called the East Indians of Bassein. The first Catholics of Bassein came before the arrival of Portuguese and had set up a Catholic church at Supara in the 14^th Century.

दुनिया के सबसे छोटी उम्र के ऑर्गनाइज़र शम्स राठौड़ के यूनिक रिएलिटी शो “हम हैं गली गाइस बॉयज एंड गर्ल्स” का बहुत ही अच्छा ट्रेलर मुम्बई के रेड बल्ब में भव्य रूप से लांच किया गया। इस अवसर पर संगीतकार दिलीप सेन, सुनील पाल, राजकुमार कनौजिया, निशा देसाई, स्नेहा गोगोई, बबिता सिंह वर्मा, विशाल भगत, जीत राय दत्त, इकबाल वोहरा सहित कई हस्तियां गेस्ट के रूप में मौजूद रहीं। सभी ने रियलिटी शो के कांसेप्ट और इसके ट्रेलर को खूब पसन्द किया और 11 साल के शम्स राठौड़ की काफी प्रशंसा की जिन्होंने सराहनीय कार्य किया है।

इस ट्रेलर लॉन्च के अवसर पर प्रिया राठौड़ ने एक बड़ी घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि दर्शक तीन सवालों के जवाब देकर 25 लाख रुपए का कैश इनाम भी जीत सकते हैं।

ओटीटी प्लेटफार्म एपेक्स प्राइम की हेड सौम्यता दास ने बताया कि इस रियलिटी शो का कॉन्सेप्ट हमें बेहद यूनिक लगा इसलिए इसे हम अपने ओटीटी पर रिलीज कर रहे हैं। एपेक्स प्राइम के बोर्ड ऑफ डायरेक्टर आनंद शर्मा का भी मानना है कि यह शो दर्शकों द्वारा खूब पसन्द किया जाएगा, क्योंकि इसका कंटेंट काफी देसी है।

यहां दिलीप सेन ने कहा कि मैं इस छोटी सी उम्र में शम्स की प्रतिभा देखकर हैरान हूं। इस अनोखे रियलिटी शो की शूटिंग के वक्त भी मैं मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में मौजूद था। वहां जिस तरह का सेट बनाया गया था, कैमरा साउंड स्टेज ज्यूरी सदस्यों से लेकर तमाम तरह का बेहतरीन इंतेजाम था। ऐसा लग रहा था कि किसी बड़े टीवी चैनल का कोई शो शूट हो रहा है।

इस टैलेंट हंट शो के ऑर्गनाइजर शम्स राठौड़ ने कहा कि इस रियलिटी शो में सभी तरह के कलाकारों को अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाने का अवसर मिला। इस के लिए न तो कोई फीस ली गई थी और न ही ऑडिशन रखा गया था।

2nd April Asian Unity Day Celebrated by Asian Unity Alliance

New Delhi: “The love for Asia has induced us to name our all organizations after the word Asian. Few years back we also proposed that there must be a day marked for the unity of Asian Countries and an Alliance was created to high light the relations between these 48 countries of the continent. And we have been celebrating 2^nd April as Asian Unity Day under the leadership of Asian Unity Alliance,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Unity Alliance and Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts.

A powerful program represented by the different organizations including Asian Unity Alliance, International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, Marwah Studios, Asian Business School, Asian Law College, Asian School of Business, Asian Academy of Film and Television, Asian School of Media Studies.  Asian News Agency, Asian Event Management and AAFT University were also the participants.

Asia is home to the world’s earliest civilizations. Its indigenous cultures pioneered many practices that have been integral to societies for centuries, such as agriculture, city planning, and religion. The social and political geography of the continent continues to inform and influence the rest of the world.

“We are trying our best to bring people of Asia close to each other through art and culture. Our statement that love, Peace and Unity can be brought to the World through Art and Culture is now getting popular day by day,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Dr Lalitya Srivastava Director Asian Education Group, Saurab Sharma Director Marketing AEG and Gurdeep Singh Director Branding AEG also spoke on the occasion. A poster was released to mark respect to The 2^nd April as Asian Unity Day.

भोजपुरी के जुबली स्टार दिनेश लाल यादव निरहुआ के साथ भोजपुरी फ़िल्म रोमियो राजा बना चुके निर्देशक मनोज नारायण अब उनके साथ दो और फिल्मे लेकर आ रहे हैं। एक्शन फिल्म रोमियो राजा को बोक्स ऑफिस पर बहुत ही शानदार रेस्पॉन्स मिला था और उसके बाद दिनेश लाल यादव और मनोज नारायण की जोड़ी सफल एक्टर डायरेक्टर की जोड़ी मानी जाने लगी। यही वजह है कि दिनेश लाल यादव मनोज नारायण के साथ दो और फिल्मे कर रहे हैं।

एक तरफ जहां फ़िल्म “निरहुआ बनल करोड़पति” की शूटिंग नेपाल में शुरू है जबकि फ़िल्म “निरहुआ हाजिर हो” पूरी हो गई है।

पॉपुलर टीवी सीरियल भाभी जी घर पर है में हप्पू सिंह की साली के किरदार से फेमस हुई ऎक्ट्रेस आशी गौर को हाल ही में मुम्बई के ताज होटल में भव्य रूप से आयोजित “एसओएस नाइटलाइफ़ एक्सेलेंस अवार्डस 2022” से बतौर “राइजिंग स्टार टीवी एंड फ़िल्म ऎक्ट्रेस” नवाजा गया। यह अवार्ड उन्हें फ़िल्म निर्माता खेमचंद भगनानी के हाथों मिला। उल्लेखनीय है कि खेमचंद भगनानी गोविंदा, करिश्मा कपूर स्टारर हीरो नम्बर 1 सहित कई फिल्मों के को प्रोड्यूसर रहे हैं।

Aries Plex SL, Thiruvananthapuram, grabbed the headlines after winning the prestigious International Film Festival (IFFK) award organized by the Kerala state government. This was bestowed on the organization in recognition of its excellent facilities provided for the event. A cash prize of Rs 10,000, a certificate, and a sculpture was awarded to Aries Plex Director, Mr. Joy, who received the award from State Finance Minister Shri K.N. Balagopal. The theatre has been recognized and received many accolades in the past. Blockbuster Tollywood movie, Bahubali received the highest collection in India from Aries Plex. The Audi One in this theater has an imported silver screen, one of India’s largest screens. Images from two projectors are simultaneously combined and delivered to the screen, resulting in images that have no other resolution. The 4K technology visual layout and sixty-four channel 80,000 watts Dolby Atmos sound system offer the audience an immersive cinema experience.
