MUMBAI : Veteran filmmaker Rajesh Mittal is ringing in the new year with an historic potboiler “Shaheed Chandra Shekhar Azaad” .
It will be this years’ second historical drama after Ajay Devgn’s “Tanaji- The Unsung Warrior” and Mittal’s third one from his repertoire after “Birsa Munda – The Black Iron Man” and “Jhansi Ki Rani Laxmibai” . Rajesh Mittal completes 40-years in this film industry and this is 41st film as a maker.
Rajesh Mittal’s “Mittal Music” released the audio and the first look of the film on Saturday 11th January 2020 at Vyanjan Banquet, Oshiwara, Mumbai.
The film has 4 songs. Dinesh Arjuna and Vakil Babu have provided the musical scores. The Lyrics are penned by Naiyer Jaunpuri, N. Upadhyay and Rajesh Mittal himself. The songs are rendered in the voices of Kumar Sanu, Udit Naryan, Khushboo Jain, Dinesh Arjuna and Indra Naik.
“Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azaad” has been shot at major actual and picturesque locations of U.P. like Banaras, Lucknow, Allahabad, Agra and many others including Jharkhand, Ranchi and Mumbai,” says producer – director Rajesh Mittal. He further adds, “From his young age, say at the tender age of 12 he took on the ordeal against the Englishers for freedom. In Kanpur Kalyan Ashram he joined hands with Ashfaque Ullah Khan, Pandit Ramprasad Bismil, Rajendra Lahiri, Govind Prasad and many others and formed a party called – ‘Hindustan Republic Association’ . There are many important aspects like train robbery, assembly bomb blast and other hair-raising incidents to secure freedom . Chandrashekhar also meets his counterparts like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Batukeshwar Dutt, Bhagwati Charan Verma and other freedom fighters.”
The film highlights basic issues of freedom fighters who laid down their lives to achieve freedom for the country. “Where they honored, received any help from the rulers or were they deceived in the wake of their rising popularity in their freedom fight” , is what the film all about.
Elucidating about his huge historical drama “Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azaad” , Rajesh Mittal says, “The film is based on true and untold factsof this great Indian revolutionary leader . I have gone through more than 50 books before writing the screenplay and dialogue . I have proved it at the censor board also and the film has been passed with an “UA certificate. The duration of the film is 147: 28 minutes and as a film maker have done full justice to it.”
Produced and directed by Rajesh Mittal on his own screenplay and dialogue, the film has a mix of strong power-packed performers from stage, theatre group from Jharkhand and Bollywood like Hemendra Singh (in title role), Pooja Khushwha, Rishabh Raj (Bhagat Singh), Anil Nagrath, Brownie Parasher, Arun Mathur, Urvashi, Sukhpal Sidhu, Pushpa Verma, Chandan Kashyap, Ranjit Bihara, Rajesh Kumar Sahu, Jharna Chakrawarthy, Atul Dixit, Jitu Soni, Dev Dutt, Anil Dhawan (Chandrashekhar’s father)* and many others in its starcast.
Co-produced by Nirmala Paul, the film has screenplay & dialogue by Rajesh Mittal, cinematography by Ramu Yadav and Ashok Chakrawarthy, action by Vimal Anand Nagi, choreography by Bhoopi, Rajesh Mittal and Praveen, art by K. Pappu & Nirmala Paul and editing by Amrendra Gaud in its major credits. Arun R Mittal is the Executive Producer.
Mittal Advertising and Distribution will be releasing the film on 24th January 2020 pan India in more than 300 screens.

Four days festival fulfilled with Golden Memories

New Delhi, Jan 12 The 19th edition of the Swami Haridas-Tansen Sangeet Nritya Mahotsava, presented by Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts and Bharatiya Sangeet Sadan concluded here, which aimed at reviving and enhancing interest in traditional Indian art forms, both musical and performing arts, particularly with the younger generation. The four-day event which was organized from January 9th to 12th at the Sir Shankarlal Hall, Modern School New Delhi , witnessed performances by the country’s legendary classical music and dance performers.
The event was attended by over 12,000 arts enthusiasts over the four days in the capital “It is necessary to present these old pieces before today’s audience. Puraani cheeze gum ho jayengi nahi toh. I still dance because I’m passionate about it. I don’t feel tired ever,” says Uma Sharma.
The Mahotsav started on a high note with the engaging performance of the veteran Ustad Ashish Khan on Sarood with Pt. Bickram Ghosh on Tabla . Performance started by Ustad Ashish khan in Raag Jhinjhoti and Raag Maanj Khamaj. With his perfection, he proved why, till now, he is unparalleled in his arena. The evening was further enriched with an outstanding performance by Hindustani classical singer Parveen Sultana, She perform a Bhajan ‘‘Kaun Gali Gaye Shyam’ in Raag Puriya Dhanashree and after she sang the famous song ‘Hame Tum se Pyar kitna’ in Raag Hans Dhoni on the request of Public. and Evening last performance given by Grammy award winner Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt with collaboration to Pt. Salili Bhatt and Manganiyarsom from Rajasthan. A capacity crowd of music lovers was enthralled by the melodious notes emanating from his “mohan veena”. For the majority it was their first introduction to the beauty and depth of indian classical music. Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt started his performance by playing his own raag ‘vishwaranjani’ and after that he perform on ‘Jhilmil Barse, Padhro Mare Desh, Dama Dam Mast Kalander aur Aaj jane ki jid na karo’. In the End of concert he perfumed “ Matram” on the request of audience.
The day two of the festival began with Padmashri Ustad Fayaz Vasifuddin Dagar Ji was singing Dhrapad) in which he started singing Raga Puriya. He teased Shiva’s alap. The audience present greeted with applause. Dhrupada is the path of devotion to God. In this, he introduced Shankar Girijapati in the Raga Malkosh. When Dagar introduced the Ras piya bandish, Mohan Shyam Sharma supported him on the pakhawaj, and Shri Shrio Bhardwaj and Neeti Lamba supported him on the Tanpura. second performance by Padmabhushan Pt. Channulal Mishra ‘Ganesh Vandana’ and it was the introduction of classical Music . He Starting with the raga Hansdhwani “Jai Maat Pitamber”, ‘Jab laaj gaai tab laaj kaha hai’, Hanuman Ghazal. Audience appreciate the Thumri, Raag Bahar Bandish .He finished singing along the lines of Kabir. The day culminated a flute of Padma Vibhushan Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia ji, amidst the chill winds of Delhi, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia’s flute played such a magic that all the listeners started drowning in the ocean of Nad Brahm. The present audience of Pt. Chaurasia’s flute playing got so lost in tone that they even forgot the winter of Delhi. He started his performance in Raag ‘JaiJaiwanti’ and ended his performance in Raag ‘Damyanti’.
The day three, began with Pt. Rajendra Gangani. This festival is held in the name of great guru Swami Haridas and Tansen. Swami Haridas have written alot about lord Krishna , Pt. Rajendra Gangani started his performance with the beautiful ashpadi written by Swami Haridas which states ‘Pratham daras govind roop ke praanapiyaare , dooje mohanamadan , sanaatan suchi ur dhaare’. Then he continue with the paramparik shudh nritya which consists of UPAJ , THAAT is typical jaipur gharana flavor, and the special UTHAN were followed by the GANESH PARAN which will prelude with Gaja Gamini and also performed some of the special lamchadd bols through Paran. As tansen ji was dedicated to his guru Swami Haridas. He also presented a Guru Bhajan to this guru – Shishya Parampara and ended his performance with jugalbandi a conversation between tabla and ghunghroo. Accompanist with Pt. Rajendra Gangani on Tabla Pt Fateh Singh Gangani, Vocal by Sh. Mahadav Prasad. The second performance of the evening featured the renowned kathak Dancer Padma Bhushan Dr. Uma Sharma. She is also the organizer of this Swami Haridas Tansen Sangeet Nritya Mahotsav Mahakumbh of this music and dance, Dr. Uma Sharma started his performance with thumri “vaaree vaaree shyaam hoon vaaree”, aur najirayaaseje nahin kahee aur “, ga kar bhaav ne bataaya . For the Guru Shishya Prampara she share the stage with her students and gave chance to perform. Third Performance given by sitar player of the ‘Imdadkhani gharana’ Ustad Shujaat Khan. He started his performance in Raag Tilak Kamod, the magic of his fingers and his voice forced all the audience to sway amidst the chill winds of Delhi. He said, “Every kind of music is liked in the world. You just keep listening to music. Good and bad.”. These two are always playing together. Every kind of music is there in the world. I am a small classical association. There are different kinds of people in the world, you are in every music. It is important “. The last performance for the night was delivered by celebrated Vokalist, Padma Shri Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar . Ulhas has imbibed the singing of the three music Gharana Gwalior, Jaipur and Agra.In a single performance, he showed the style of the three music Gharna. In keeping with the practice of raga, Ulhas Kashalkar described the beauty of the three music Gharna. However, they consider Gwalior as the basis of their singing.
The last day of the festival began with a mesmerising performance by the Khan Brothers, Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan. Khan Brothers given first performance in Raag Lalita Gauri and then perform Jhaap taal and Teen Taal.The Mohatsava concluded with the performance of legendary Sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan he given his first performance in Raag Darbari which was created by Tansen and he shared a special memory with audience which was related to Raag Drabari. After Raag Darbari he gave second performance in Ghamas in which he performed “ ekla chalo’ which was written by Rabindranath Tagore and last performace gave in Raag Bhairavi. Accomplished in last day with Khan Brother and Ustad Amjad Ali was along with Tabla Satyjeet Tawalkar and Anubrota Chatarjee and along with Tanpura Vipul Kumar.

About Subramanian Gopalsamy – It is believed that with loss that a new life begins. As young artists in the city G. Subramanian was carving a niche for himself as a decorative painter, when his only daughter was diagnosed with cancer. Her passing away shattered all possibilities and his life came to a standstill. He went on a spiritual journey in search of answers, yet his life seemed blurry. His reverie was broken when he won a gold medal in art competition , which led him to take art classes for children. He visited the Sistine chapel in Italy , and while facing the Michelangelo’s masterpiece , he found his path and a whole new meaning to his life.
Subramanian Gopalsamy said ‘I started working on images of god, goddesses, parrots, flowers like the lotus and the smiling face of my daughter always find a place in my art. These subjects come naturally to me. The mythological images like Buddha, Ganesha, Krishna and Saraswati come from my childhood memories growing up in coastal village listening to mythological stories narrated by the elders. My daughter loved birds and the parrot was her favourite, so all my paintings will depict one. The inspiration and spark behind my art is the smile of my daughter. For me texture is very important and it helps me connect with the viewers. I want looking at my art to not only understand the emotion behind it but to also feel it”
Born in 1952 in Tamil Nadu G. Subramanian’s work is inspired by innocence and divine beauty in a child’s face and the power of Indian mythology. He graduated in fine arts from the government college of arts and craft in Chennai. His works are a part of lalit kala academy in New Delhi. South side gallery, Edinburg, UK and The World Bank in Chennai. His multi layered collages reinterpret the printed images and texts from popular magazines and abstract background highlighting the complex imagery. He makes use of his experience as graphic designer in the play with images
About Gnanadickam Ponnusamy- P. Gnana paints, sculpts and creates conceptual installations, as one of Singapore’s leading artists. Indeed, he has obtained a highly-captivated audience in the Lion City and internationally, for the aesthetic and conceptual niche that he has created for himself within the ever-competitive dynamics and economics of urban art-making. This, he continues to achieve, by constantly counter-challenging or taming the forces that urge him to dispel his obsessive fascination towards the cow, a recurring symbol in his art since the last 9 years of his 25-year career as an artist.
It is a fact that exemplary paintings by Gnana are also in the collections of the former President of the Republic of Singapore, of the Singapore Art Museum of the National Heritage Board and of the current Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates.
Gnana is a recipient of the LASALLE Scholarship of the LASALLE College of the Arts(Singapore), from where he received his formal training in the art of painting. He was granted the honour of being selected (in 2005) to undertake a project commissioned by Singapore’s Ascendas to create fourteen large-scaled paintings within an abstract expressionistic motivation for the International Tech park in Chennai (India). In 2013, one of Gnana’s monumental larger-than-life sculptures under the Incarnation series(made from recycled/ found materials) was acquired by the National Parks board(Singapore) to display at the Fort Canning Park Singapore.
Gnana is also an active member of the Sculpture Society (Singapore) and the Singapore Art Society. In addition, his painting have been successfully auctioned by the Masterpiece auction House. Gnana made his debut in New York in 2011 and he continues to present his work via prestigious exhibitions in Singapore like Art Stage and Dubai at the world Art Dubai, and Malaysia at the Art Expo Malaysia including selected.

In Bollywood, the trend of keeping movie titles very differently is going on. “Sabne Bana Di Jodi” – a horror comedy family entertainer is one of such kind which is going to release soon. The trailer of the film was launched today at Sahara Star Hotel, Mumbai where the entire cast and crew of the film was present.
Presented by RJ Films Production, the film is directed by Shahid Kazmi, produced by Sabeer Samar Shah and co-produced by Mrs.Hemlata Pant and Vikas Arun Pant who is also the creative director of the film.
The film stars Arjun Manhas, Neha Lahotra, Tariq Imtyaz and Sanam Zeeya as main leads including the legendary actor Asrani Ji, TV bigwig Shagufta Ali, Mir Sarwar, Hussain Khan, Rani Bhan, Mona Manhas, Vijay Malla and Sapna Soni in supporting roles.
Asrani ji is probably doing a horror comedy for the first time, he is playing the role of a Sardar of ghosts. Mir Sarwar, who played role in films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Kesari, has played the role of a Sardar in this movie.
Shot in the beautiful locations of Jammu, Delhi and Karnal,the story is about a wedding happening between two Delhi based Punjabi familes where the girl is superexcited to marry the boy, her childhood love interest who however is not willing to marry her. She leaves no stone unturned to impress him but he already has a girlfriend. Both the families are constantly making efforts to somehow convince the boy. Even his childhood friend who is the wedding planner wants this marriage to happen so that he can improve his relations with his girlfriend cum partner in wedding planning.
To add more twists and turns to this chaos, the ancestral wedding house is haunted with the ghosts resembling exactly the family members. Now, it will be interesting to see how the families deal with the ghosts and make the wedding happen. This will probably be the first time that all the actors in the film are doing a double role.
The other cast includes Nida Khan, Udai Bhat, Sabeer Samar Shah Kaseem Mirza, Kiran Verma, Danish Ali, Gulisha, Sahil, Rahul Dev, Sajjad Khaki..
The music of the film is given by Tuhin Biswas and Mukku and the singers are Raja Hassan, Kumar Sharma, Mukku and Pooja Giri. The D.O.P of the movie is Rahul Singla.

The movie is set to release on 31st January 2020 through PVR.

2020 में हिंदी फिल्म गैंग्स ऑफ बिहार जैसी कई फिल्में लेकर आ रहे हैं राजवीर सिंह

कहा जाता है अगर नियत साफ हो और कुछ कर जाने का जज्बा हो तो मंज़िल एक दिन मिल ही जाती है। पंजाब के भटिंडा के रहने वाले राजवीर सिंह ने बड़ी मुश्किलों भरा सफर तय करके बॉलीवुड में अपनी एक पहचान बनाई है। सनोज मिश्रा के निर्देशन में बनी फिल्म “राम की जन्मभूमि”से अपना कैरियर शुरू करने वाले एक्टर राजवीर सिंह आज एक व्यस्त कलाकार हैं जो ना केवल कुछ बॉलीवुड फिल्में बतौर लीड कर रहे हैं बल्कि डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म पर भी काम कर रहे हैं।
उनकी आने वाली फिल्मों में काशी टू कश्मीर, गैंग्स ऑफ बिहार और नुशरत जहां जैसे प्रोजेक्ट्स शामिल हैं।
राजवीर सिंह के संघर्ष की कहानी भी किसी फिल्मी कहानी जैसी प्रतीत होती है। पंजाब भटिंडा के एक बेहद मध्यम वर्गीय परिवार के रहने वाले राजवीर की मम्मी एक हाउस वाइफ और सिलाई का काम करती थीं जबकि पिता जी कंस्ट्रक्शन लाइन में हैं। बचपन से ही फिल्मों का शौक रखने वाले राजवीर फिल्मों के सीन दोस्तों के सामने एक्ट करते थे। पहली फिल्म जो थियेटर में उन्होंने देखी वह अमिताभ बच्चन की मर्द थी। उसी दौरान उन्होंने शहंशाह देखी और उसके डायलॉग खूब याद करते थे। शुरू में मुंबई आकर उनमें बहुत शर्म, झिझक थी। कॉस्टयूम डिपार्टमेंट में उन्होंने असिस्टेंट के रूप में काम शुरू किया।बीच में फैमिली इशू की वजह से वह भटिंडा लौट गए और वर्षों भटिंडा में रह गए। 2016 में वह बुरी तरह बीमार पड़ गए और लगभग एक साल बेड पे पड़े इलाज करवाते रहे, उसी दौरान उन्हें एहसास हुआ कि एक्टिंग फील्ड में ही उन्हें अपना कैरियर बनाना है। और फिर सपना पूरा हुआ, सनोज मिश्रा की फिल्म राम की जन्मभूमि उनकी पहली रिलीज़ फिल्म थी।
उन्होंने सनोज मिश्रा की अपकमिंग फिल्म काशी टू कश्मीर की शूटिंग पूरी कर ली हैं जिसमें वह एक बेहद महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहे हैं।
वह कहते हैं “इस फिल्म में मेरा रोल ग्रे शेड्स लिए हुए है और मैंने इसी लिए ऐसा रोल स्वीकार किया ताकि मै अपनी एक्टिंग की काबलियत दिखा सकूं। लखनउ की रियल लोकेशन्स पे शूट करना मेरे लिए एक यादगार अनुभव रहा।” राजवीर सिंह इस फिल्म में ताज मोहम्मद का रोल अदा कर रहे हैं जबकि इस फिल्म में गोविंद नामदेव, ज़ाकिर हुसैन जैसे एक्टर्स भी हैं।
इसके अलावा उनकी तीसरी फिल्म आ रही है नुशरत जहां”। गुजरात में हुए इशरत जहां के एनकाउंटर की कहानी है यह फिल्म। जिस एसिपी ने एनकाउंटर किया था वही किरदार राजवीर प्ले कर रहै हैं। किस सिचुएशन में यह एनकाउंटर हुआ इस मूवी में वह दिखाया गया है।
कुमार नीरज द्वरा निर्देशिक फिल्म गैंग्स ऑफ बिहार में वह चुन्नू ठाकुर का अहम रोल निभा रहे हैं। वह क्रिमिनल भी है, निगेटिव रोल भी है पर उसके अंदर कुछ अच्छाइयां भी हैं।
पॉज़िटिव और निगेटिव किरदारों को निभाने के बारे में वह कहते हैं “हीरो या विलेन की कैटगरी में लोग एक्टर्स को डालते हैं मगर दरअसल वह एक कलाकार होता है जो एक किरदार निभा रहा होता है। मै इंपॉर्टेंट किरदार प्ले करना चाहता हूं।”
राजवीर सिंह ने दो शॉर्ट फिल्म बुक वार्म निदेशक विनय सैंडलिया ओर द परफेक्ट स्माइल जिसका निर्देशिका बंदिता बोहरा है, उसमेभी काम किया है जो एक थ्रिलर है। हमेशा कुछ नया और डिफरेंट करने की कोशिश करने वाले राजवीर खुद को दोहराना नहीं चाहते।
गोविंद नामदेव, मुकेश तिवारी जैसे एक्टर्स के साथ काम करके उन्हें बहुत कुछ सीखने को मिला है। फिल्मों को वह सिर्फ काम नहीं बल्कि अपना पैशन मानते हैं। राजकुमार हिरानी, संजय लीला भंसाली, अनुराग कश्यप, मेघना गुलज़ार जैसे निर्देशक उन्हें बेहद प्रभावित करते हैं।
“ज़िन्दगी में स्ट्रगल कभी ख़तम नहीं होता.” वह ऐसा मानते हैं।
राजवीर सिंह कड़ी मेहनत को ही कामयाबी का मंत्र मानते हैं,वह कहते हैं “मां बाप से अपील करूंगा कि आपके बच्चे जो बनना चाहते हैं उसका सपोर्ट करें, बच्चो से कहना चाहूंगा कि वे मां बाप को कभी धोखा ना दें, उनकी उम्मीदों को ना तोड़ें।”
नए वर्ष में उनके कई प्रोजेक्ट्स रिलीज़ होने वाले हैं।
