After five successful marquee events in Mumbai & Delhi, Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) is all set to launch its first-ever Most Prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Awards South to honour and appreciate the creativity & talent of South Film Industry on September 20, 2019, in Hyderabad, Telangana. The ceremony has recognized and feted many Indian actors and films for their achievements in the past. DPIFF AWARD is a unique initiative intended to honour the entertainment industry and to appreciate the creativity, in the presence of Celebrities, Dignitaries, Industrialists, Delegates and Media Personnel. Abhishek Mishra CEO of DPIFF Says – ‘The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival is to honour the lifetime effort of the father of Indian cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke Ji. The Award Function will celebrate the brilliance of the Indian Cinema, which is making an effort to acknowledge as well as aid nascent projects by bringing them to mainstream audiences’. The main aim & motive of DPIFF is ‘Appreciation to the Creation’. The event at N-Convention, Madhapur, in Hyderabad will honour some of Tollywood, Kollywood, Sandalwood and Mollywood’s biggest names. The chief guest for the first-ever Most Prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award South will be Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and Shri Chandrasekhar Pusalkar Ji Grandson of Dadasaheb Phalke Ji will grace the event and do the lamp-lighting. Ritu Shivpuri, who has been a part of several films as well as television shows, is currently seen in Colors TV’s show ‘Vish’. Speaking on Teachers’ Day, Ritu says, “Life has been my best teacher and I have learnt a lot with time. I have had my own share of struggle, stress and disappointments. People used to say, go and join some motivational classes but I have always believed that you should keep your head high, live with dignity and grace. Don’t let anything run you down and be proud of your achievements. The people that I have in my life today, are my biggest earnings. Life has taught me not to value things, but value people. I just want to be happy, be around with the people I love and cherish every moment spent with them. So, life has taught me to stay positive, may what comes.”
Further sharing her childhood memory, Ritu says, “During my school days, I was a very naughty and talkative student in the class. Teachers used to ask my father why is she always talking and smiling? They thought i am up to some trick. In fact there was one teacher I remember, the moment she used to see me, she used to say ‘Shivpuri, out of my class.’ So I was very naughty but in a positive way.” Meanwhile, on work front, Ritu will soon be seen in a web series and is in talks for a film too.

Rohit Pathak and Vikranth’s Bakrid is a travel story shot in various locations including Chennai, Manali, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Goa. The film got a very good response and Rohit’s character was much appreciated by the critics. Rohit Pathak is well known for his roles in films like Theeran (Tamil), Seetha(Telugu) and recently released Bakrid. Looks like the scenario is going to change for the actor with his latest release Bakrid where a camel named Sarah plays an important role. The best part about the film is for the first time a camel was trained to play a character (Sarah). Rohit feels that Sarah is soul of Bakrid.
Bakrid is written and directed by Subu Jagadeesan of Sigai fame. He has also done the cinematography for the film which is bankrolled by M10 Productions. Music composed by D Imman. Talking fondly about the film Rohit Pathak says, “ I instantly said Yes for the film, when I heard it going to be the first Indian film based on Camel, traveling from South to North. I haven’t come across such a beautiful story. The film shows a very emotional bonding between the camel (Sarah)and hero Vikranth which is completely pure and truly amazing. Im playing lorry drive in the film. And im glad that I took up this role.

Veteran actress Zeenat Aman has said she is mesmerized by the beauty and cleanliness of Nagaland. She added that Northeastern state is full of talent — be it in music, painting or other art forms.
“I have visited Nagaland and it is such a beautiful place. The people there are warm, lovely and friendly in nature. INDO – ISRAEL CUTURAL FESTIVAL’s Poster look launched
Mumbai: India’s renowned event organisers Universal Events in association with Research Media Group is organising an international event by name INDO FEST TLV at Israel country’s business hub TEL AVIV City. BOLLYWOOD and HOLLYWOOD renowned Film Star Anil Kapoor is coming to attend this prestigious event as a chief guest along with Raveena Tandon & Ameesha Patel.
