38th Annual Day of Children Welfare Centre School Graced By Film Stars like Dharmendra, Jayaprada, Shilpa Shetty, Gracy Singh and others

Mumbai:The 38^th Annual Day of Children Welfare Centre High School and Clara’s College of Commerce was celebrated in a spectacular function at the school ground located at Yari Road, Andheri (West) on 3 March, Sunday. The variety entertainment program including dances, skits and a special play based on social media was staged on the occasion. Different personalities; including Dabbawala Vilas Shinde, who helps ‘Ekata Manch’ in their ‘Roti Sabji Yojana’ was felicitated. This scheme was launched at the hands of noted actress late Sridevi last year. Besides, some doctors and social worker Meher Haider were also felicitated as part of the program. Also nearly 40 members of a Trekkers group from Mahabaleshwar who voluntarily help in evacuating those trapped or those who meet with an accident, were also felicitated. The members of these group help those in distress, evacuate them to safety and also retrieve vehicles fallen in the deep ravine, all this free of cost.

 

Besides CWC High School Principal Ajay Kaul,Congress leaders Sanjay Nirupam and Kripashankar Singh & actors like Dharmendra, Punit Issar, Rahul Dev and Siddharth Jadhav and actresses like Shilpa Shetty, Jayaprada, Gracy Singh, Rimi Sen, Sonali Kulkarni and Drashti Dhami graced the occasion. In addition a host of social and political workers were present. The children were given prizes at the hands of the special guests.

Addressing the audience, CWC High School Principal Ajay Kaul, said that the program is being organised to encourage students and give vent to their hidden talent, every year. An attempt is also being made to give them message through the entertainment. This year a drama dedicated to social media was staged in which an attempt was made to give a message that although the mediums like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are helpful, the students should not remain glued to these mediums and should not their waste whole day. They also gave an advice of communal harmony and upgrade students culturally because finally the children are our future. CWC High School Activity Chairman Prashant Kashid was felicitated for organising the program skilfully and successfully.

AspiringShe Women Achievers’ Awards 2019 were concluded in Mumbai recently and saw showbiz heartthrobs like Shama Sikander, Aahana Kumra, Chahat Khanna and Anju Jadhav grace the occasion besides many other celebrities and socialites. The event had a Green Theme which signifies spring season, eco-friendliness, prosperity and Swacch Bharat Campaign.

Awards were conferred upon Women Achievers from across the country in the fields of Nutrition, Sports, Fitness, Arts, Fashion and Entertainment by Major Arvind Tiwari, Patron of AspiringShe and Chief Guest of the event. Priyaank Sharma and Riva Kishan kickstart shooting of their debut film, Sab Kushal Mangal

Padmini Kolhapure’s son Priyaank Sharma  and Ravi Kishan’s daughter Riva Kishan are all set to make their Bollywood debut with One Up Entertaiment’s Sab Kushal Mangal. The film produced by Prachi Manmohan (Nitin Manmohan’s daughter) also stars Akshaye Khanna in a pivotal role and will be a quirky romantic comedy directed by debutant director Karan Vishwanath Kashyap.

The Mahurat shot of the film was taken in Ranchi on Saturday and was attended by actors Priyaank, Riva, Producer Prachi Manmohan, Producer Nitin Manmohan, actors Ravi Kishan with his wife and Padmini Kolhapure with her husband producer Pradeep Sharma.

Speaking on her son’s debut, Padmini Kolhapure said, “Everything is Kushal Mangal today. The young enthusiastic team is incredible. Priyaank, Riva, Producer Prachi and director Karan they all are beginning a new chapter in their lives so the excitement is palpable. My heartiest congratulations to the entire team.”

Ravi Kishan added, “I am very happy and a proud father today. It’s a fantastic team and I am happy that Riva got Sab Kushal Mangal as her debut film.”

“At this moment it is nice to get support from parents especially when they are veterans from the industry. Tvashtar 2019 – Sophia Shree B.K. Somani Polytechnic Annual Meet

Dr Anila Verghese ,Director , Sophia Polytechnic  along with Chief Guest  Dr Abhay Wagh- Director Directorate of Technical Education. Guest of honour -Ameesha Prabhu, CEO of TRRAIN- Trust for Retailers and Retail Associates of India and Prof. Prof. Anna Dallapiccola were seen encouraging young aspiring designers. Along with other guests- Ace designer Nivedita Saboo , Designer Mariam Khan, Television Stars Sahil Khattar. Jury- Meher Castelino , Nataline Frost and the very famous stylist Shayal Seth.

      

The graduate students of “Sophia Shree B.K. Somani Polytechnic”  celebrated the culmination of their journey and announce the beginning of their professional life at a mega event “Tvashtar 2019”

It rained fashion and creativity by all the talented young designers from “Tvashtar 2019” who  were guided and judged by the eminent jury which includes stellar names from the fashion fraternity- Meher Castelino , Natalie and the very famous stylist Shayal

Taking fashion a notch higher and redefining the latest trends, the students offered the fashion world with sartorial designs for the elite under the guidance of a panel of expertise. It  witnessed the glitterati of new age fashion and the student’s take on the latest trends of, cuts,  colours, styles & inspiration.

Tvashtar is the annual celebration of creativity of the students and applauds their entry into the professional world as young fashion designers, stylists, fashion merchandisers, illustrators, in fact, in all areas of the apparel industry.  Tvashtar enjoys the title of best annual meets among other fashion colleges in Mumbai. Not only famous models walk the ramp but Bollywood and Fashion celebrities have graced the event in the past.

Dr. Mrs. Jignasa Shah says “The entire objective of this show was to give our students, who are budding fashion designers, a platform to showcase their talents and get a taste of their chosen industry. Thereby augment their growth and make them winners in life. Year after year Sophia polytechnic organizes the fashion show for students graduating as they will get hands on practical experience on designing garments for show, this experience of designing will directly enhance their future career prospects”

Chanda Patel: I’m Not Pornstar My Most Special Films

Been in the film industry for sometime and learning her but and successfully producing content for Entertainment Chanda Patel says that I’m not Pornstar Nazar Sambhal Ke! is one of her most special films she has made and predicts that it will sensationally, rock.

Keeping her cards close to her heart she says, “I’m not Pornstar Nazar Sambhal ke! Is the most special films I’ve produced. I’m extremely proud of it. It has great universal appeal including script and actors and word of mouth potential. That’s why I’m confident,” said Chanda.

Directed by Jainedra Baxi, the film talks about, where the mind is mostly occupied. In a lighter note we say empty mind is a devils’ workshop and we think about many thing but one thing we certainly think is, will we be loved?
