Saturday 16th June 2018, Music launch of Maithili film “PREMAK BASAAT” was organised in ‘Take It Easy’, Andheri West, Mumbai, in a grand way were almost entire team of film were present, along with media person. Producer Vedant Jha said that he always wanted to make a film, and after looking that there are almost films being made in every regional language, he produced this film in his mother tongue Maithili, director Rupak Shah explained the meaning of title PREMAK BASAAT, which means ‘winds of love ‘, he said film is a love story of Hindu Boy and a Muslim Girl, he is trying to send a message to society that only love and affection is extreme, nothing else. Film is releasing very soon.

फ़िल्म “प्रेमक बसात” का शानदार म्यूजिक लांच।
शनिवार १६ जून २०१८ को मैथिली भाषा में बनी फिल्म “प्रेमक बसात” के म्यूजिक रिलीज़ का भव्य समारोह अंधेरी स्तिथ ‘टेक इट इजी’ में सम्पन्न हुआ। फ़िल्म से जुड़े सारे व्यक्ति एवं मीडिया कर्मी इस अवसर पर मौजूद थे।
निर्माता वेदांत झा हमेशा से फ़िल्म निर्माण में जाना चाहते थे। लोगो के प्रादेशिक भाषा के फिल्मों के प्रति रुझान देख कर, उन्होंने अपनी मातृभाषा मैथिली में इस फ़िल्म का निर्माण किया। निर्देशक रूपक शरर ने फ़िल्म के टाइटल का अर्थ बताया कि प्रेमक बसात का मतलब है, प्रेम की बयार अर्थात हवा। उन्होंने बताया कि फ़िल्म विशुद्ध रूप से रूहानी प्रेम कथा पर आधारित है। यह कहानी मोहन और माहिरा की है, जो दो अलग धर्मो के होने के बावजूद, प्रेम के बयार में एक दूसरे के हो गए, ‘प्रेमक बसात’ इसी को दर्शाता है, कि प्रेम सब से बड़ी पूजा है, इबादत है, धर्म है।
फ़िल्म के निर्माता वेदांत झा, लेखक-निर्देशक रूपक शरर हैं। संगीत-सरोज सुमन, प्रवेश मल्लिक और एस कुमार के हैं। गीत-शेखर अस्तित्व, सारिका कुमार, अयोध्यानाथ चौधरी, सरोज सुमन, एस कुमार और प्रवेश मल्लिक के हैं। गायक-आदित्य नारायण, तोची रैना, साधना सरगम, आलोक कुमार, पामेला जैन, सावनी मुदगल, प्रवेश मल्लिक, सुनील मल्लिक, सरोज सुमन एवं दिलीप दरभंगिया हैं। फ़िल्म के कार्यकारी निर्माता कुणाल ठाकुर हैं।
